I take pregabalin for suicide nerve pain but it's also prescribed to people for generalized anxiety disorder and epilepsy so I'm using my dumb dogshit brain to assume it has inhibitory effects. I know on high dosages of pregabalin I feel higher than giraffe pussy.
Perhaps it's just a brain not wired right. Wife sees all sorts of cool shit in the stars I never do. I get fractally lines once in a blue moon in my vision. I do sometimes feel guilt, anxiety and depression a day after though.
See I feel that during the trip for me. Maybe I have alot of stuff going on in my head me I can't wait until I can smoke weed again that's my drug of choice and has not did me wrong "yet".

Me? Not yet tbh. Always thought the trip is the same as a cube just more intense.
I have read that it is different. Idk I do miss the good times I have had on them.

Put my first WBS jars into tubs tonight. I have to say all that milo and millet seems like it gives me 100x the starting points for new myc than oats would. Or maybe oats grows more myc strands in all the empty spaces between it which ends up being more. Don't know.
Other than being slow because I didn't nail the moisture after a 24 hour soak I really liked WBS. Smelly after soaking but really nice looking.
All the jars looked great and smelled like fresh cut mushrooms so here is hoping my journey with aspergillus is now at an end. Hoping, don't think I can handle much more failure without wanting to pack things up for awhile.

It wasnt all pleasant thoughts and sunshine but the horrors of the self rarely are.
That sucks to hear man. I have my own demons with liquor which is why I haven't been even touching the gooms let alone micro-dosing. Hoping you get what you need under control brother

Hola jay see em. I’ve been on a month long unintentional cultivation break myself. Due to buying a guitar
But I’ll be making transfers tonight. The cool thing is I left all my plates unattended and one of my cross attempt plates has a line of knots where the two meet, hopefully something pops up looking a little mutty. If not I’m going to put them away for a while and just focus on the pans someone was nice enough to send me. I’ve got many things demanding attention but I really wanna try them.

Gonna make some shelves of bags to grow some different things.
If I got this right I can just take a clean Unicorn XL bag, dump a quart of colonized spawn into it, 2-3 quarts of sub mix and tape the top shut. Let it colonize and fruit it like that.
Where should the FAE holes be? Few around the top of the loaf and one or two at the top? Thanks all.

I really should write up a journal entry about my microdosing experience, i love talking about it and shill it to fucking everyone i meet. I have to be careful because i say "i buy mushrooms and cap them myself," when that's a little white lie
Started March '19 at 0.150 g, one cap twice a week 2 hours-ish before bed, two months on one month off. At 10 months, kept frequency but bumped dose to 0.300 g. I measure out the mushrooms using my good scale, fill caps individually, top with multivitamin powder. Tedious as FUCK but doing 100 caps in one go has me set for a while. Microdosing absolutely broke me out of my depression, allowed me to be more in control of my thoughts and emotions, and gave me the ability to analyze WHY i was feeling/thinking that way. Some days after dosing, i wake up with that almost autopilot feel but it's a weird combination of autopilot and extreme focus. I'm a very regimented individual and dosing helps me stick to it when i don't feel the motivation. The first month, maybe two, i felt the roller coaster emotions which varied every couple days. The most distinct thing i noticed is that i would get hyper focused on one thought and it would stick with me for the rest of the day. Because i was severely depressed, it was often anger or sadness. But by the end of the first month, i started to gain the grasp on why i was feeling that, and started to learn to change it.
I could type more but tl;dr i fucking love mushrooms, they are my medicine, and i believe if more people did them, we'd all be happier. I love you guys

I dunno if you're talking to me on that one but if so I was looking for less maintenance than shoeboxes are. I've only used shoeboxes for clone hunting. After reading the bottle tek and then bags I'm just in love. Just don't know the size/number of slits being made by people who do it or when they make holes the size/number/position.
I can get 1000 polyethylene (not propylene so no PC) bags for fruiting for $80 that measure 8x4x22 2mil so close to a Unicorn Xl. Seems easy to just dump a grain jar into one then a couple scoops of CVG.
I've got an upcoming surgery to try and regain some motor control in my arms and hands and the recovery and possibility of having things get shittier makes it even further appealing. I mean as it is right now even putting my arm into a monotub to smooth the surface while making one requires a few breaks to try and regain feeling and strength in my right arm. Just don't want to be in a position where I can't make, move or harvest a monotub. As it stands I need the wife to open most of my jars unless I have my strap wrench.
If you were talking to someone else I apologize buddy/budette.

That sucks man I’ve had a couple fairly severe injuries when I was 15-22 and limited mobility stuff is brutal. And that was being a kid in excellent shape, the thought of being like that when I’m older or long term is scary. Hopefully they fix you up right and easy.
What kind of maintenance were you having to do on shoeboxes? One of the reasons I was drawn to them when I started was how simple they are. Getting coir hydration just right is the main thing for me cuz as long as it’s not too dry they mostly run themselves.

Ya shoeboxes AND Munch's Shoebox Method where he puts shoeboxes in monotub (standard or Pasty's EZ Dialed monos, and after dialing them in, it's set and forget.

All good it's not so bad could be worse you should see the carpet/flooring installer guys at the physical rehab place I attend. 50 years old with artificial knees and hands like gnarled wood. Roofers that took one spill and use a wheelchair now.
I appreciate the shoebox methodology I am just interested in getting into bags that I can manipulate on a table with lobster claw hands and don't require really reaching overhand into something to pull things out. May as well learn to dial now instead of waiting for then if that makes sense. I have already begun installing a hot water pot tap on the wall behind my stove in case moving a stock pot full of water from the sink becomes impossible. I really enjoy this hobby and I never want to be in a position where I cannot do it any longer. I am sure more than a few of you are in the same boat with more fruit than you might ever need and do it for pure enjoyment.

lol Idk how guys work like that so long. I did concrete work for a couple months and I’ll live in my car before pushing a 500lb wheelbarrow up a driveway again.
Have you tried flipping the shoebox or whatever tub on it’s side? Or using a liner I just pull the whole sub out onto the table. Reaching into tubs to harvest definitely sucks.
Good call setting backups in the growroom too, I wish I had a big barn sink in mine.

Shoebox tek in my sig was made specifically to cut out all the fucking maintenance and make em set and forget
Edit: saw this was already suggested, and read over your physical condition. Hope you can find something that works for you.
