Very first grow. Hopefully all goes well. 6 more jars recovering from the last shake and then they go to spawn and 4 more not far behind.

Oh how exciting! And you have more to spawn. I tortured PESA but it came thru. It's such an adventure! The one thing learned is it's a numbers game. Some make it , some don't. Just have something going. And all yer mistakes will be a learning experience and Yer successes will be joyous!

It's been exciting this far. I'm trying not to get too happy yet. We're not out of the woods yet and it could all turn out to be low yield or potency. Either way, it has been fun and I continue to learn something every day.

That sounds very dry, if I'm reading that correctly.
So if I had 100g dry millet, I do 30% of the dry weight? so 100g - 70% = (30g) water. That's about 23% water content total, (30g / 130g, x 100 = ~23%).
If I did 100g dry millet, and did x2 (200g) water, I get 3 parts (33% each), (200g / 300g, x 100 = 66.66%). If I did 100g dry millet, and did x1 (100g) water, I get 2 parts (50% each), (100 / 200g, x 100 = 50%).
~23% could still work, since your adding the spawn to a high water content substrate.
====
Edit:
It could be: 100g dry millet, -30% = water (70g), 70g / 170g, x 100 = ~41.2%

Anyone care to take a second and give me their opinion on this tub? It's my first time with APE, so I have no experience with how they mature once they get past the pin stage.

The fruits are still on the smaller side. And since it's my first APE grow, I'm not sure if they will continue growing after getting the point where the caps start to open up some, or if I'm gonna have some tiny fruits for this tub. Tub is at 24 days. So still some time left to mature before being concerned. The fruits and caps are still firm, so not ready for harvest yet.
I dont think my sub was too wet, as it's the same recipe and field capacity i use for all my other varieties with success. May just need to be more patient.

So I got just a standard impulse sealer from amazon for 30 something and Iโm wondering are all impulse sealers capable to switch out the fuse strip for a wider seal like 2mm 5mm 8mm. Because Iโm pretty sure it came with only a 2 and thatโs not working out.

30% of your target final bag weight. For example I wanted a six pound grain bag, so that is 2,688 grams. 30% water content of that is 806.4 grams. Your millet would be 1881.6 grams. Or am I as bad at math as my teachers said I am?

Nooooooo!!! Is that something that can happen with APE or you think it's gotta be my conditions?
I get baby fruits with regular cube varieties sometimes but that's normally from too wet of a sub. I dont think this one was too wet, but who knows. Maybe it was
I've got 3 more tubs of APE coming along behind so we shall see if the result is reproduced
I mean bite sized ones make you trip just as hard, but man are they a bitch to harvest lol

Pretty sure they cannot be switched out. look up "5mm sealer aie" on the zon.

Damnit I thought my question got lost and went and got it anyway. So your saying that sealers are built specific to the size of the strip? Because they have replacement strips so I assumed they could be changed out with wider strips. Oh well guess Iโll see when it gets here
