While cubes are coprophilous fungi I’ve sometimes felt they behave more like grass lovers.

I mean the coir not the tree, cellulose-lignin, comparative to wood. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coir
"Coir fibres are found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut. The individual fibre cells are narrow and hollow, with thick walls made of cellulose. They are pale when immature, but later become hardened and yellowed as a layer of lignin is deposited on their walls."
"Common uses of coco fibre include: As substrate for growing mushrooms, which thrive on the cellulose. Coco peat has high cellulose and lignin content."

I just got my 2nd flush, I noticed tons of shrooms coming in at the bottom. I flipped my cakes over and noticed lots of primordia. If I leave them flipped and dunk them, will I got more new pins than I normally would on a 3rd flush?
Also, how should I dunk?

I've started 144 jars split 50/50 with PE6 and "Golden Mammoth". I'm trying to find reliable pictures of the expected fruits but google/shroomery has varied results. Some PE6 pictures look like the penis envy, some look like regular old cubes. Golden Mammoth there's very little, if anything.
Will have to wait until the fruits come up I guess.

both will look 100% like a regular old cube, indistinguishable from any other variety. thats how most cubes are. AA+, PE, APE, Rustywhyte, Leucistic Golden Teachers, KSSS saucers, and a few others will reliably throw out the same phenotypes from spores, but most cubes just look like every other cube.

You would have to sterilize the coir and keep it sterile while spawning

They are and for many other things too.
In this hobby I want things to get red hot as fast as possible so I prefer to use a torch.
Same process but 1 is faster

Meaculpa is the last person I would recommend anyone to learn from. I would take the advice from TCs.
He was making videos for constructive criticism (I think?) not as examples of what people should do.

i got this weird PM from a member here at the shroomery sending me a picture of Fox mulder from the x-files
saying that meaculpa actually wasnt a troll, and succeded in learning to grow shrooms in spite of his serious, serious, learning disabilities, and blames shroomery for being jealous of his thread being too popular

Funny how you say that, because the whole ukraine homeland thing was about taking advice from TCs
Ah man these weird encounters on the internet

Oh Ok so it is confirmed small-talk cancelled is MEACULPA.
He is back!
Edit: I guess the thing that grinded everyones gears is that you came off as not wanting peoples advice. Mental issues aside you need to be careful because one of your last posts said you had a kid.
