Without those skills, growing in bulk in a massive climate controlled growroom will be a disastrous waste of time and money

:whathesaid: Not to mention it would be an impossible task to come up with an automated GH that will work with every environment, so writing up a one-size-fits-all GH tek ain't happening. Monos are much easier to control and write a one-size-fits-all tek, that people can tweak for their place.

There are people out there who will legit buy indispensable amounts of fungus, it's crazy but it's very real.  A lot of it seems to be being turned into more "proffesional" products IME that have nice labels and shit.  It's not diff really from how cannabis was evolving right before legalization took off

Thank god people are still dosing the fuck out of themselves. There is still hope for humanity

Simply providing good lighting for 30+ monos is hard enough rn for me, I can't imagine trying to manage 100+ tubs and get the lighting right for a whole room stacked with tubs lol

Where can I discus with people about an automated fruiting chamber, is this the place to do so?

Go over to the gourmet forum and learn how to grow mushrooms in that kind of environment. As stated above most people grow in tubs, most people here are growing in small tents where applicable. Gourmets are grown on a much larger scale in large environmentally  controlled fruiting areas. If you can do that, then you can grow cubes in the same way.

Once it becomes legal you can bet your ass that large producers won't be buying thousands of totes to drill and stuff with tape or poly, they will be grown like any other mushroom.

Day 2 3 of pins update: I finally spotted a new pin on top of the cake, very glad for that. Also, the one pin is growing, the growth is just a lot fatter than I anticipated; I thought it'd grow longer first, guess not.

And my second cake has a pin as well. Very happy.

I have around 30 monos right meow. I like it well enough. I don't even use liners.:smoker:

Some company just came out with I think it was 25mg psilocybin breath strips.

Shits moving along much faster than weed did.

Why not? Liners make working with multiple tubs easier and more efficient, imo. Easier spawning, easier harvesting, easier clean up. I run anywhere from 10-30 tubs in a run, couldn't imagine how much longer not using liners would take.

I should start using liners again.. I have been telling myself It will make it harder to get lighting right if all my tubs have liners and that its too time consuming vs just scrubbing the tubs more after tossing but I dunno..... Liners really don't take up much time and I do miss the ease of clean up, as well as being able to lift subs out of monos much easier for harvest..

I can't wash my tubs outside cuz neighbors so I gotta do it standing in the shower lol. Shit sucks with 30 monos a month

I aint wanna complain tho :rasta:

liners are great for ease of clean up  iv even thought about starting to line my pan trays just cuz they have grooves in the bottom and they can b a pain to clean out at times but liners when i ran monos made that clean up smooth and easy as hell

Why would liners affect light?

my guess is not trimming them down, thus having to light from overhead

I suck at trimming liners and so just scrub tubs with a brush and fill em up. I also don't wanna throw away extra plastic.

Same. I'm too lazy to make liners. I just take the tubs to the carport with my smily face scrubby, some some dish soap and the hose. To me thats easier than cutting liners. But id also rather dig a hole large enough to burry a BMW than to file my taxes so to each their own.

My thoughts are that liners (well, black ones specifically) block light except the surface of the tub, rather than all sides too.  I dunno if that makes a difference tho..  my grow space is packed a bit so it's difficult to give a decent amount of light to all the tubs and I've had shitty lighting experiences in the past and it def affects yield and growth significantly.  Did that make sense or do I just sound wacky rn ? Lol

I just use light from my window with slightly cracked blinds and my ceiling lights fan on. Don't even use 6500k lights cause I don't want the attention. seems to work just fine. building some kind of lighting array for 20-30 tubs just isn't happening. I have to turn the tubs halfway thru growing so the shrooms don't grow lopsided, but other than that its all gravy.
