A.k.a said: That’s how I do humidity chambers. I have these racks I put in to hold the sub off the ground and then put wet paper towels underneath. Which is on the lid.

what about my "all natural trichoderma" coir brand

Would you use that for a humidity chamber
As for me, running 3" of soaked perlite in a tub for a humidity chamber myself. Got a quinoa jar pinning from it

If your spawn is bacterial it’s not got anything to do with tomentose culture. Some of my best clones were tomentose but that wasn’t gonna stop me from growing the hell outta them.
This clone put up canopies every time. Was fluffy AF
This plate

Became this tub

I have no idea about that coir.
But tomentose growth is fine, no reason to avoid that. Avoiding bacterial spawn makes sense.

I have all of the parts for one, but wouldn't want to use it for grain.

Any reason in particular or are you just looking to build a bulk pasteurizer?

Any bacterial looking spawn I run across on the rare shot I do gets dumped into a xlarge spawn bag 1:1 with cvg. My monotub count is up to 57 currently but why not have a rack full of bags too.

I'm building an atmospheric steam generator that will be connected to a larger vessel for sterilizing supplemented blocks for gourmets.

For some reason I was thinking of something like a walk in closet size sterilizer .
Can’t imagine how much water you’d need per cycle for a chamber that size

Well the steam generator is connected to a stainless steel ball valve thats connected to a hose with constant water supply on a slow feed.

I've been toying with the idea of using walk in fridge panels to build a walk in unit instead.
