If the plates are blank you should leave them in room temps so any CFU’s present are allowed to grow.

LC guys out there, what needle gauge do you like to use on your syringes? I'm thinking of getting some 18G needles, but I'm all ears.
Been using 14G needles for the longest but I don't like them. They act more like a tube than a needle. Hiss and sputter like crazy when flamed and drip a lot after squirting the LC. Easy to get the juice out but not so easy to control.

That’s new to me too.
So upset with myself for getting lazy with this tub. Such a good cluster clone but I forgot about it and didn’t case in time and got tons of side pins, then cased it got a bomb pinset and screwed up the fogger and it dried out.

Definitely gonna run a lot more of this culture.

Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone of you have experience with 1/4 pint (4 oz) jars for PF Tek.
Basically, I'm wondering if these should be dunked for 24 hours like 1/2 pint jars, or less time?

I've just made my first agar -> agar transfer today and am leaving for two weeks this afternoon. Is there any reason not to put the plates in the fridge while I'm away?
That's where I'd keep them
Nice thanks, and it's no trubba to put them freshly transfered into the fridge?
I’ve personally always had terrible condensation in my plates when I put them in the fridge. I even store mine in a lunch bag and they still come out wet. Anyone else have this problem and is there a way to avoid the extra moisture?

If they're fully colonized and consolidated, a full dunk likely won't hurt... I wouldnt expect much from them

I pluck and shuck each individual fruit, and finish a tub in an hour to an hour and a half... 5.5-6.5 dry oz monos... I can clear cut one with a pair of scissors in about 30 minutes
Lotkid uses a serrated machete and clear cuts in a few minutes I think

30-60 minutes depending on the tub and how precise i want to be. I did get a bigger/sharper knife and that has definitely put my average time under an hour, and i know i'm being far too picky about slicing all my fruits, getting all the coir off.
