Put the ring around a pin so that it grows into it then hand her a big fat APE or something with a ring around it.

Damnit that’s what I was gonna say. Put it on a fat pin then slide it up under the cap as it grows. Then tell her you need help printing.

Hey you spawn bag poeple.
What brand spawn bags are ya'll using? I can't find anything mentioned on this topic in the recent past posts. There are a lot of options out there and I'm sure some are the worst, some are the best, and some are the most cost efficient while still doing their job. I figured my best option was to ask you fellers instead of wasting money on shit. I'm considering moving to some outdoor grows and spawn bags would be much easier than the amount of jars it would take.

Culligan what was your recipe for no prep WBS, and brand? And did you just do a normal 1.5-2 hr at 15-18psi?
That shit looks like it just broke down into oatmeal.

Plastic lids expand (bigly) in the pressure cooker. How is this not an issue with drawing contams in as it cools? They come out of the PC extremely loose and there's not really anything you can do about it.

Gravity bro stuff doesn’t just fly up past the threads. Unless you’re cooking grains in a tornado I guess

It's not realy about gravity, it's about pressure and tempature differences, there is a lot of movement of the air and a lot of is going into the jar as it cools. Besides, gravity becomes basically irrelevant for spores as soon as the air isn't still.
I suppose I should probably let my jars chill out more before removing, I've been yanking them out as soon as that valve drops lately.

I don't think a cooling grain jar pulls a great enough vacuum to lead to much contamination in the long run, unless maybe your environment is super fucking filthy.
A lot of people get by with unmodified lids on jars and media bottles, some of them are tc's. I don't know if my explanation is the best but the numbers don't lie.
