Whats the differences between rustywhyte and whytegold?

I know what the crosses are, but was anything noticeably beneficial added to WG that RW was missing?

I've been running a RW clone, that as a result of me not doing something right, or just genetics always gives back 90% BE (?) (if i use 4qts spawn, i get 3 dry oz back) it makes up for it in subsequent flushes

i haven't tried things like using a real jiffy casing or anything. I just top layer with coir at spawning and I spawn 1:2 and then add about another 1.25qts of coir for the top layer.
I really haven't tried much, as idk what i can do other then the top layer stuff to effect the outcome?

but i planned on going back and doing some MS grows to get some candidates for clones, but might just go down the WG trail rather then the RW

@crashtest you're gonna unecessarily rust those lids, put those cakes on some folded tinfoil squares. I think your cakes look fine. Dont baby them, check the surface of the cakes and gently fan every day while inspecting every day.

Badly:lol:

Usually burst grains leads to awful colonization followed by poor recovery and usually followed by mold.

I bet its 1000% easier for myc to colonize and utilize the food from an intact grain compared to a smashed exploded mess.

If I have agar in a media bottle but don’t have a PC, can it be steam sterilized and poured in sterile Petri dishes

You contact a shipper in your country and ask the to quote for a Free on board shipment 1/2 cubic meter and they will give you  price to deliver from the China port to your door.  Ahk the supplier if he does and  what he charges for a FOB service and they will deliver it to the shipping port to your country of origin courier.  All you really need to do is hook those 2 parties up and they will do it.  You will pay Vat and duty on top.

Can you give me the name of th supplier?

Yeah I'll send you a message. Maybe you can get the group buy started since I don't know how to calculate all the costs to get it to your door

Simple nutrition (starch) makes the myc slow which is detrimental since we only “sterilize” grains for a small period to allow colonization.

Complex nutrition (fiber) makes myc :cactuarrun:

A few burst grains probably won’t hurt

Goal is hydrated grain without bursting. Not always easy. Write down and take notes best way to figure it out.

I use mine in a dirty ass room but i give it a spray down 1st.  My old room didnt need it but I was fruiting in and it was fine

An FFU is literally a hepa (usually mini-pleat) filter with a self contained fan attatched.  They dont have the same power  flow as a dayton powered hood but they work just fine for sterile work

My dirty ass work area.. I do they same thing spray it down and let it run for about 10-15 minutes then work ..
