I cant understand how can i mist mushrooms without water touching them. They are getting bigger and there is less space to spray.

You can mist, they're not pans. Don't get trigger happy but it'll be fine. Mist, not drops.

Why would you think water can't touch them? When they grow in the wild, they get misted with every morning dew.

Water can definitely touch them. The point is to mist into the air instead of directly onto the substrate/shrooms.

I don't really mist when the sub is fruiting tho. Misting is not a tool to rehydrate the substrate, it's to initiate pinning.

If they sit wet for days... water from a light mist should evaporate rather quickly and cause no issue... operative here being LIGHT misting

It's better that the mist falls naturally, rather than with force: as with a direct spray...

I painted my cement walls with mold and mildew paint . I’m thinking about getting the 6ft x 20 in wire shelving and bolting it to the wall . . For tubs n such
Think that would work out ok?

You're really watching for an almost invisible glistening on the surface. Shouldn't be much water standing anywhere.

Dunk as you harvest.

I use the 20" wire shelving and its great: do take extra care to anchor it properly, especially if you plan in loading it down with tubs

I've had tubs never develop surface moisture and still have great pinsets... if the sub looks hydrated, dont get to hung up on trying to maintain surface moisture... bear in mind that evaporation is a key component  of pinning, and cannot occur if you obsessively maintain surface moisture... I've actually stalled pinsets doing so

They're LGT, there are spores in there if you look closely. It Soo could have been worse.

Anyone else have experience with prestos swelling on the bottom? Mine have been doing it for a few months ive noticed, and I cant recall if it's always done it, or they're just worn out... they swell to the point I can rotate them with a light path with a single finger on the handle

Yeah, don't suffocate them. Just put them on a plate and cover with some tin foil.
