Lol. It’s my ignorant americanism. I accuse everyone of having fake degrees and fake mm measurements and such...(even though their way seems to make more sense, but I couldn’t tell them that! ‘Murica Beatrice!!!)

I wonder if the opposite could be true too. I'd have to add 2-3 more cups of water to my coir to even get a drop to squeeze out. 2.75q to a 650 brick of very absorbent coir.

This tubs look a little off to anyone else Its got 3 pins and no visable knots. Probably my fault for running untested clones lmao. Anything I should do? Increase FAE? I took the filters out of top two holes.

Bottom left corner looks interesting.
Yes increase FAE. I bet it's a day or two behind.

Could be genetics as well. Try the same spawn with less coir if you still have spawn jars around.

Here's update.

They started to open up so I got them out. Not real big but it filled 6 trays in the dehydrator.

I’ve had a bunch of tubs with tiny fruits Tedoro, sometimes that’s just what ends up growing.
Super annoying lol.
I was on a mission to get huge mushrooms after running a bunch of grows when I started and getting small to medium ones, I tried everything.
Finally some ms toc put out some good ones and an underbed of aa+. I did a lot of experimenting with coir hydration too but I never really noticed much difference unless it was significantly wetter than field cap.
Then again I could’ve been writing off small fruits from slightly overhydrated coir to genetics too.

That's hilarious.
One milliliter of water occupies one cubic centimeter, weighs one gram, and requires one calorie of energy to heat up by one degree centigrade—which is 1 percent of the difference between its freezing point and its boiling point.

Try saying that in bald eagle..

Thanks. Its good hearing that. I am so stoked to have some cleanish spawn finally, but I certainly haven't put the time in on getting good genetics. I only have 4 clones from fruits on plates I'm putting to grain, and some of them look like Gizmo's photos above. I am open to it being too wet... I've run them at under 2.5q and that seemed too dry.

Yo has anyone ever had success with malted grain? I picked up a few 'kilograms' of each the other day, rye, oats and wheat. All grain seemed perfectly hydrated then after the PC they all clump as hell and myc never colonizers more than 20-30% before stopping. I experimented a lil with malted grain out of curiosity but seems it doesn't really work.

Anyone have any tips for how to proceed? I've been fighting this RW print for what feels like forever. Originally, I was having trouble with bacteria riding along with the myc. I seem to have solved that problem by going back to germ plate and being very picky and tedious with streaking. These are a couple plates one transfer away from MS. I'm fairly sure the halo around the myc is some kind of mold. It's much more obvious than the clear leading myc edge I see sometimes see on MS or early transfer plates.

I was going to do some transfers earlier than I wanted due to the satellite mold colonies you see at 2 o'clock and 12 o'clock on plate 1 (pic 1 & 2) and plate 2 (pic 3 & 4), respectively. Also, I'm fairly sure I can see a bit of mold pushing out right on the edge of the myc at 2 o'clock for plate 1 (pic 1; backlit picture). If I'm right, it seems like the mold and myc are right on top of each other and I'm not sure how to proceed and whether it's possible to really save a plate like this.
