I prepped an PCd 12 jars today and will inoculate tonight with agar. I have enough agar for 30 jars. Gonna do a 68 quart unmodded tub. With a casing and a liner. Was also thinking about when hamloaf did that kiddie pool, I may have to do that...

Question for bag people: How do you like to nocc your grains? I've been just stabbing my agar wedges and opening the bag to slide the agar off of the scalpel inside the bag. Don't like this method, its very finicky and too risky contam-wise.
I just tried a makeshift version of the blenderless LI tek, but i haven't seen any growth in that bag yet, it's at least 5 days since innoc. So that method isn't looking like it is going to be my favorite either.
I've been thinking about making grain jars nocced with agar wedges and G2Ging them to the bag. Afraid of contam vectors though, f.ex. the side of the jar you are pouring from would likely touch the inside of the bag.
Any favorite methods people want to share?

I would use G2G. Its the easiest. So agar wedge to grain jar then grain to grain bag. Thatd be my route.

Even though those plates are clean I wouldn't have them open on the counter (unless it's in an SAB or something) might just invite contamination.
But they look good to use if you want.
If you have the jars to do it with try both. Transfer some and noc up a jar with some more.
If the jar(s) get contaminated you still have the culture going.

My first grow- cubes (GTs) via unbodified tek. got a decent pin set but they’re barely even 2 inches tall and the veils are breaking like they’re nearing harvest time. What did I do that made these fuckers so short? Any tips for my second flush so they don’t end up this short?

Maybe make the coir drier but everything looks good in the picture.
I get a ton of mushrooms that size on my first flushes.
I recently did z and pe6 for the first time and both had first flushes like yours and then later on were cranking out 30-50g fruits.

anyone having problems uploading images?
it's doing that thing where it shows as uploaded but when you click to expand, it says the user has deleted this image. I've had this happen before and usually just delteing that one and uploading again fixes the problem but it's happening to every image I upload?
Wondering if anyone else is having issues? I even tried the alternate upload method

If you click to expand it, it expands normally?
The thumbnail appears fine to me too, but it won't expand
edit:
after uploading about 10 images with that problem this one seems to have worked

Still curious if that was just on my end though. If you mouse over the photo I posted above and click to expand/zoom in...does it show up normally for you guys?

I know it's a double post but a couple of people in here wanted to see how I wrap a stack of plates...

Cut away as many as you like by putting your scalpel blade under the last dish that you need to cut away and spin the stack. You will need to support the bottom of the last dish as you pull it away though or you'll drop the bottom of the dish.

These fruits are solid. This is the second flush after a first flush of blobs.

Contamination is user error. Flowhoods have many advantages over a SAB when it comes to scaling, ease of use, comfort etc. You can most certainly still seriously fuck up your grow while using a hood if you don't have good technique.
