Can’t help with a bigger penis but try mixing your water content up in your bulk sub. A lot of my experience leads me to believe they less water in the sub (which means you’ll have to mist) brings bigger fruits.
Also genetics. Clone a big ass PE fruit

hey in your sig, your mini pleat filter. what is the depth on it? i foung one online but it was 24x24x2, it was hepa 99.99 .3m. im guessing it would work.
anyone have any experience with filters that are only 2in in depth. ?
Yes mini pleat works a charm, that one was 77mm so basically 3 inches. Go for it

But for real I need bigger fruits and possibly a bigger penis.
I hydrate just below what most call field capacity. When I squeeze hard only maybe 2 drops come out of the coir. I still get very good surface conditions, when pins form I bottom float like eats does. I only float with mini mono and shoeboxes though. Full size monos have enough moisture in the sub already.

strain is matters more than conditions IMO. some like it wet, some like it dry but some will never get big regardless of conditions

I'm not sure you can compare the 2, the perfect isolate only works if the conditions are right

thats what I meant. you gotta match the conditions to the strain but some strains will never get big regardless of "perfect" conditions. some strains kill it in a wide range of conditions tho

Man it's been awhile since I've messed with cakes but that one doesn't look great. Just looks very unhealthy to me.

And I forgot to mention, the cake is actually white, not light-green as pictures. Its a color inaccuracy in the photo that I just noticed.
 ^Edit: Heres a better photo.

Hi All, I am wondering how much COIR do I use per one litre Jar of Spawn and water? It's Cannna Coir in a 50Litre bag so it's not a brick like most I see here. Also, do I have to pasteurise it?
Thanks in advance :-)

Depends on the ratio you’re shooting for.. some ppl use 5 myco quarts (about the same size as a liter) of spawn per 650g of dry coir.. so around 130g of coir and 3.2 cups of water with ~2 cups of verm. Some ppl use more verm than others or no verm at all.. just need adjust the water lower if using no verm

hey dude , i'm currently doing a lot of liquified agar , and i'm fucking loving it
i want to suggest to you and everyone to try it , ha
i was kinda afraid of it at first cause liquids and whatnot, but the colonization has been so good and fast that's all i wanna do now ; i like that you can expand a very good looking petri into 50 jars in 15 minutes , 9 days later no shake no nothing all of them are 100 % ; skipping the whole master jars phase
i use verm to get the grains right on moisture pre load ; and then to absorb the agar water that i free pour in it , that could be a lot sometimes , the mycelium always germinate first on the verm , then leaps off and engulfs the whole jar so fast and even ; i haven't spawned them , so the results are not final , but the colonization is so good and fast my hopes are high.
i tried syringes , an oil dispenser that fits mason jars and a big ass turkey syringe all sucked and made it harder to get the liquid with chunks in it ; and also were the slowest to colonize , i recommend that you try free pouring first , and see what happens before doing all those runs like i did

-------------------- ...and when you loose control ; you'll reap the harvest you have sown.

@dmbbp hey man, just a suggestion but you may want to get yourself a fin comb to straighten out your bent flowhood fins:
I can't tell if it's cloth or not though

I have a mini pleat and a fin filter, I never once bumped the face of my mini pleat in the 4 years I used it, but I accidentally snagged a fin on my other hood with the tip of my glove and bent it. Just used 2 chopsticks and reshaped them.

Hello.
These are my jars of South American spores bought from internet shop. They have 4 weeks in a 26C thermic box. Cake was made with 2:1:1 gross vermiculita, brown rise and water.
Appears no contamination. I used a homemade glovobox.
It appear to develop in a very slow pace.
Pictures: april, 04
Someone, please, can explain what is going on and what to do next?
Thank you
