I'm on my first run of sb myself some don't want to give any advice on what to do next, but I will say that SB looks fucking nice. Well done.
On second look, keep an eye on that back right corner in second pic.

Yeah looks good.
If you can keep the surface from drying out more air is always good.
I usually crack one end of the lid open so it’s resting on top instead of snapped. But I also have super low Rh and use lower walled tubs it looks like so I think it’d be safe to flip the lid and see how it goes. I’ve been fruiting in similar temps and around two weeks to pin has been normal.
Are those 12 quart tubs?

Huh don’t think I’ve ever seen 7 qt ones, they look a little taller than the 6.
It’s weird that back part isn’t knotted but the rest of the knots and beads look perfect.

the 6 qts i was looking at seemed a bit too shallow, and the 12 had weird ridges in the bottom i didn't like and these were 1.98 at walmart so i grabbed a grip
ya i noticed the knotting about 3-4 days ago and what is in the corner about the same time, spawn smelled good, jars looked good. SB smell like mushrooms

This may be a dumb question but has anyone tried using a syringe to inject SAGARI into grain jars\bags? Or anything really. Just pondering if I could make it thin enough to work with a 12gauge needle.

you have to inject alot of water into the grain jar as the grain soaks up most of it and you dont get much back. if you do use that method dont forget to spawn the grains after

You’re thinking of a different tek he was asking about using soft agar not making LC from colonized grains, which also works but I’ve never done.

I think I follow. I made 500ml of it and haven't really fully decided what I want to do with it. Also looking more into LC and LI. I have 0 clean cultures right now so just reading and pondering but soon with have a lot to work with so looking at at options.
Edit: no worries Ted, same. Just curious, why don't you like the soft agar approach? Asking purely for insight, I haven't used sagari, lc or li yet.

Me and ted are both kinda oldschool (I know him IRL) we both use wedges to noc jars and use jars to noc more jars or bags. If you have a good schedule theres no need to cut corners or try to speed things up by using liquids or sagari. Just do the same shit every week and have backups in case something goes wrong. Tried and true methodologies > experimentation. Depends on what your end goal is but I always make sure to back up experiments with a control , IE A2G, that way I have options if it goes wrong, which it often does.
My goal is lots of mushrooms repeatably with minimal frustration. Thus my methodologies are a bit conservative compared to some I suppose.

I’ve done a couple sagari jars now, starting to love it.
I was gonna do the blender thing but figured if I can just drop agar like normal and get a similar result then I’d rather not use the blender and open up extra vectors.
My strategy now is to drop a few sagari wedges then spin/slap the jar like normal to get them buried and spread out, then shake the jar hard for a couple seconds which liquifies them.
Then wait for the mycsplosion

Sounds like this. Caps wasn’t the originator of the idea just basically relabeled it (Like most teks)
