I already tossed the cut outs. May just tape them up and go for the other side. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I heated a knife to cut the holes. Smelt so bad of burnt plastic though..

You need a big ass can. I bought a can of bulk corn from the grocery store when I re done my SAB. First time I did it with a wood burned and a stencil cutting tip. I wanted slightly bigger holes and that's why I redid them with a heated can. I'm thinking about cutting out the space between the armholes though make it a little easier manuver in there.
Here's how it looked before I widened the holes.

I don't have an after pic but I can get one of anyone's wants to see it doubt there's much interest though it's same damn tote with slightly bigger holes lmao.

Yeah, you don't really want to breathe that stuff in. If you have a soldering iron, or better and Xacto knife tip for a soldering iron, it makes the work much more smooth. I couldn't find any cans to heat up that were large enough.
As I'm re-reading this, it kinda feels like I'm staying the obvious here so apologies if that is the case.

I wish I had used a can. I just went at it with a box cutter and torch but that thick plastic sucks the heat out of the blade quick.

Mines bigger than yours :p hahaha! I seen a coffee can at Walmart but it was $5 and I was like naaah, I’ll just use a heated knife.
Did some dumpster diving and found my cut outs...

People construct awesome looking flow cabinets pretty regularly, barely anyone builds a super awesome SAB. 99% are still just totes. I'd like to see people get excited about building a crazy nice SAB. Sounds like a great thread to get started.

I googled it just cause I was curious. Thought there might be some awesome lighting system I was unaware of (not that I know all lighting systems). Pretty sure the t700 might be too much heat for a small grow room. Haha

Smaller Box Larger Box
is probably the extent of the souping up you'd want to do with an SAB

Lighting! That is the one thing that I constantly changed and strived for better. Like most I started with a smaller box and got a larger one when I scaled things up, but if there is one thing I wish I had done in the beginning to pimp my SAB, it is definitely better lighting.

Cant remember who it was but there is a user with a really nice sab built into a closet, it had plexiglas walls and top and had a sheet of vinyl flooring as the bottom. I’m gonna try and search it rn will edit my post if I can find it..

I don't have a fancy SAB or I would start a thread. I'd like to see what people have.
