Any body monitoring CO2 levels in their grow area? I never have and am thinking it'd be interesting.

I've wondered about CO2 as well, as studies have come out in the past decade about humans being affected by slight increases in workplace CO2. And I'm a closet grower. also a closeted grower.

I have peat moss left over from a couple years ago but am having trouble finding a source for lime during the winter. I wonder if tractor supply stocks it. Hydrated lime is what I need correct?

I use the powder. I would imagine the pellets aren’t as easy to work with. You can also use crushed limestone. It’s not as harsh as hydrated lime, so if your measurements are off a bit, there’s less chance of frying your fruits.

Is there not sufficient fae in your space? I'd imagine a bit of air flowing into a 12x12 room thru a cracked window wud be fine.

Its an old weed cultivators trick to have mycellium growing in the same room as they balance each other perfectly. Usually they use oyster mushrooms as its so aggressive. I dont have any plants at all in my grow area....maybe I should

How do you know when the APEs are done Caps? This is the 1st time fruiting them, looking for a clone outta here
That looks like a beautiful cluster right there......
Is there any real harm in waiting until they mature to pick a clone?
and I'll pose the same question here: When are APE ready for harvest? Bluer caps, or will they open up a bit more?
If I have time still (assuming I do) I wanna take my 1st shot at some swabs as well.
*and thank you Edmunter, these really are something to finally see in person!

Checked germ plates this morning. 2 of 4 look good 2 have a wierd contam. I use a larger shallower plate for swabbing than a normal pasty. I don't think it was the plate I think I got to relaxed on my sterile tek. I'm gonna repc my swabs and try again maybe I just need to pc them every time. Try an inoculation loop this time too see if it's not my swabs.I lost a transfer too. All th agar work I did last session basically is no good. I dropped agar to grain after but it looks prime, about 20 percent in less than a week

How are you storing your swabs and how long is your PC cycle? Sounds more like sterile technique issues from what you sound.if you have wrapped in foil, I always make sure to pull the foil down far enough(or off entirely) to make sure it doesn't hang over the plate.
