Sleeves are fine but not absolutely needed. Pre sealing is fine but not absolutely needed. I generally just fol nicely, PC and unload in front of the running hood. I appreciate the confidence @shadow, but we can't be certain until they are at least mostly colonized and looking clean. Really though, i nice fat flush is the only way to know you really won. I do think they'll be fine though.

Thanks. Also, the Zamnesia manual says to soak the growkit in water for 12 hours at the beginning, but it doesn't tell you to put in the fridge so I just left it in room temperature. I later read elsewhere that it should be placed in the fridge for soaking. Do you think it would make much difference?

These growkits come with outdated user manuals.. refrigerated soaking is not required. 4 hours in room temp will also be just fine. I also started out with a kit like that. Think mine was from another vendor though.

Hi beautiful people. Its spring around here having days with temperatures as high as 86 or above.
Ive got a crappy 34 qt tub with a shitty lid that leaves huge gaps.
Is this tub dry like a bone? spawned 1:3 on 15th november.
I had to give it a light mist, didnt look very good. Any input?

Seems dry, but it hasn't shrunk and you do have condensation pooling so it could be worse.

Doesnt look as though it's time for it to shrink yet. And the condensation is prolly from temp change. Kinda how my tubs look at about a week. You even got some cloudy yella bacteria splooge drops on top. If bacteria doesn't overtake it, eventually the surface will start making clear droplets. If i was you i wud soak up them pools of water that dipped down the sides. Edge of a paper towel works great.
Hey, sometimes let some harvested fruits sit out overnight before cleaning them up and dehydrating them. Does that really make a difference in noticeable potency?

I understand, and there is a part of me that is dead inside. But the question is if there is a noticeable drop in potency. How about this..wud it make a bunk bag?

Nah, it wouldn't be that bad. People half ass dry shit with a fan and still produce active bags. If I didn't have time and energy to get em in the dehydrator I would just wait to harvest till the morning after.

Unless the same person drying is actually checking alkaloids, its just a bunch of . How can a person have any meaningful impression of the potency without knowing that? Since potency to a large degree is decided by genetics as well. Not trying to be crude.
To have a usable result, you'd need to know the alkaloid/content before you dried.

I don't need to measure the atoms in a glass of water to know that there is evaporation occurring at room temperature, but I also understand that it is a smal amount. Same logic could be ise to infer that there is some degradation in the mushrooms, but likely so little it's not a big deal. That said if it's simply a matter of putting it in a bowl and placing the bowl in the fridge then just do it, I say.
