You mean clone from the shitty clone ? I wouldnt fuck with it . You should be working with at least 15 different clones so you would have plenty to fuck with ..
5 tubs 3 clones per tub .. or go ham like me and do 40646790653278 varieties and 24589754214568976432567 clones Haha no really dont do that its pretty overwhelming

Maybe this will help. Extract from my journal + more.
====
Active mycelium:
Baeocystin: [C11]--[H15]--[N2]--[O4]--[P] Norbaeocystin: [C10]--[H13]--[N2]--[O4]--[P]
Psilocybin: [C12]--[H17]--[N2]--[O4]--[P] Psilocin: [C12]--[H16]--[N2]--[O]
From above:
"Psilocybin is a tryptamine compound with a chemical structure containing an indole ring linked to an ethylamine substituent. It is chemically related to the amino acid tryptophan, and is structurally similar to serotonin." "Psilocybin is a member of the tryptophan-based compounds that originally functioned as antioxidants in earlier life forms before assuming more complex functions in multicellular organisms."
"Psilocin is relatively unstable in solution due to its phenolic hydroxy (-OH) group. In the presence of oxygen it readily forms bluish and dark black degradation products" "Most species of psilocybin-containing mushrooms bruise blue when handled or damaged due to the oxidization of phenolic compounds"
"Psilocin is broken down by the enzyme monoamine oxidase. Some psilocin is not broken down, and forms a glucuronide"
Notes:
Nor-baeocystin are analogs of psilocybin, meaning single or various elements are added or removed. It appears they can be phosphorylated or dephosphorylated (cleaved, added, a cycle?). All four compounds contain carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen.
Serotonin: [C10]--[H12]--[N2]--[O]
====
I also Googled and found that "oxidative oligomerization", is a reaction catalyzed by oxidoreductases. Other examples of oxidoreductases are laccase and peroxidases (target: phenols).
Lignicolous fungi commonly use laccase and-or peroxidases.

Here I germinated Cubensis spores on-in a wooden peg using some modifications and sucrose. Later the Cubensis produced white-rot on T-Gel plain, (no malt, no sugar, no starch).

This morning I noticed that the beads of moisture on the surface of this tub were gone. I gave it a very light misting and moved it to a spot with less airflow.
In the last 24 hours or so these small white dots started appearing, hoping these are knots and not some mold making it's foothold.

InjuryβTriggered Blueing Reactions of Psilocybe βMagicβ Mushrooms
they've found the proteins that turn psilocybin into psilocin, and psilocin into blue stuff. it's a polymerization reaction, meaning psilocin molecules link together and turn blue. they made no mention of any relationship to active alkaloid concentration. they concluded the function of the reaction in nature, as a defense mechanism against insect attack.

So the blue is literally just a visual 'fuck off' response? Or the combined molecules create some sort of toxin/repellent that just happens to be blue?

You should read all of it, try the 3rd to last page, where it talks about ROS, enzymes (such as laccase and peroxidases) and anti-oxidants. Not much is mentioned about the pesticide effects, although many materials do have these effects on insects.
Tarragon oyster for example, produces coumarin and linalool, which can also effect insects. That being said, oyster mycelium trap and kill nematodes for nitrogen.

Ok ok god damnit lol i have 1 more Ape tub and 3 PE tubs to spawn still. My supplies went to a friend. Everything is available for me when i circle back to babylon. I really shouldn't have even said anything. Was jst way frustrated and whining like a bitch. Imma giveaway my prints and swabs pretty soon. When i circle back i wanna jst concentrate on APE and Melmac. Not into this PEUW as it turns out. Only lucy pe pheno we have thus far though.

yea dude, I think i got a piece before you did actually. It's not really PE potency, but it's a kick above average for regular fruits. and the results are much more weight than i get for other pe-types. Probably mostly my own failing there though.

i had read it start to finish.
(throughout the paper, "1" refers to psilocybin, "2" refers to psilocin.)
Even though 2 is not the biosynthetic precursor of 1, the kinase PsiK can rephosphorylate 2 to 1.[2] Thus, PsiK adds another layer of self-protection by its capacity to remove 2. Oligo- and polymeric 2 consists of an extended conjugated system and, in the reduced state, numerous hydroxy groups that are oxidationprone. Strikingly, these structure elements are similar to those of anti-oxidative compounds, such as flavonoids and polyphenolic tannins.[23] In the basic and oxidative environment of insect guts, such compounds act as producers of reactive oxygen species and can thus create intestinal lesions which is presumably their main mode of toxic action.[24] Therefore, polymeric 2 may serve a defense function.
