Found this amazing illustration by a Russian freelance designer, Malina Cosmica. Made some tweaks to it to use as a Shroomery wallpaper.

I would pick D or E, personally D (and F) because it has produced a 'uniform radial' already (near perfect circle). The rhizomorphic genetics, don't seem to grow out uniformly, although it's fairly radial.
Note: rhizomorphs tend leave gaps in the substrate-media.

Edit: Rhizomorphs can be produced due to bacteria, and bacteria can be hidden.

Do you people experience condensation in jars when dropping agar wedges? my wedge looks like paper thin inside the jar and the jar has lots of condensation.
It even has a teeny tiny dot on the top where two to three rye grains wet. Cant tell wether it is bacteria or just humidity.
I cant tell wether or not is colonizing slower at that point or if it is just humidity

Wait, what? have been looking at that pic for a while, are you suggesting rizomorphic growth is bacterial? and that tometose is the way to go?
That may be looking against what most people seem to agree with here. Regardless, the pics you mention do feel healthier and a better choice to me as well. (but, what do i know? still have a ton of shit to learn)

Hold on.
It stirred shit as in, it stirred some shit dude, so it works?
Or stirred shit...stirred like shit? It is not worth it?
Mine doesn't look like that camera93 but I bought a cheapo chinese version and it does the job for me.

You can get rhizomorphs for various reasons, bacteria is one of them, imagine bacteria pushing lots of strands together, or directing the mycelium. Rhizomorphs are a formation of lots of mycelium stands bunched together (aggregated), a bit like rope but not twisted.
Not all bacteria-other are bad, in nature mycelium benefit from nitrogen fixation.
====
Here are what I would call 'linear and populated' growth, you could also call it free flowing rhizomorphs.

Also note, Azure's can produce rhizomorphs, on T-Gel live Azure's produced thick, populated radials, no aggregated rhizomorphs. With Tarragon oyster, and T-Gel + flour (and tea leaf), best growth was on the wood peg and tea leaf (cellulose).
At first, it sent out linear rhizomorphs (gather), later the abundant cellulose growth took over.
