whoa, noo... Ijust thought u thought they thought it was obnoxious or smthing. I know they know;)
oh forsure, heard.
And yeah, you do use salt water dont you? i read that in (maybe this) some thread the other day, and i definitely dont do that. Im sure it benefits you in some way but atm my fogger is only for cubes, and honestly it gets kind of grimy after a month. it only maintains 65% in my tent so i dont have to mist but honestly im running too many expirements right now and i gotta cut it tf out and just get back to the processes that brought me the real canopies...
Just trying to find what works better for me and im pretty sure i passed it up and just gotta start doing that again. Not a problem, it was simple enough. Still getting all i could ever need... was just trying to see if i could dial in uncased tubs and i dont have the patience for it when i could just throw a coir casing on... Idk i want to really get a knowledge of the mechanics and feel like using true casings (verm/lime/peat/any mixture of those) will further my knowlegde... not to mention i really want to move onto tampanensis and panaeolus...

Instead of painters plastic, I used old oat bags and duct tape.

Since its halloween I figured I would pull out an old boogieman of the shroom hobby; the microwave, hated and despised and generally considered useless, it managed to dry out the "top" water of agar jars by using correct voltage.
I ran it with the LID on, never off after PCing, but not 100% tight.
This allowed the microwave to evaporate the top liquid on top of the agar, without me opening the lid

I wouldnโt microwave Petri dishes, they arenโt designed to withstand heat like that. Theyโre polyethylene most likely low density...

I've been microwaving all my contaminated no pours and keeping them to see if anything regrows. So far nada. Microwaved a plate with black mold and mushroom mycelium nothing one with mycelium and bacteria nothing. And a couple that had only bacteria. Still nothing.

Ahh nuking no-pours. How resourceful of you. I'd be concerned about the toxins left behind by the contaminants. Not the reemergence of said vexation.
