Or any other nutrient ?
Always wanted to piss in one. Seen a post where a dude put red dye in it to make red shrooms.

The condensate makes it difficult to clearly observe, but it appears fine dude. Sometimes rhyzo growth jst happens. Not necessarily a sign that your culture is attempting to outrun contams or search feverishly for nutes. If your worried about it, do some transfers.

Cool, thats what I thought. I just wasn't sure what this fingering was about. I read it in a tread a few days back, and it had a photo of it in a jar growing out. I think it was larger, aerial fingers...

Fingering more less happens on grain or spawn in General, you will see long thin strands move right past what would be a food source

Someone somewhere was chatting about making their bags of grain 39% water. Who was that? I'm curious if they were counting the water already in the dry grain....

Boil 8 pounds on medium for 25 minutes, high on 5 minutes, making sure that I started with about 3 inches of overhead water. Make sure they are hydrated inside by biting them in half. V easy.

I'm probably not the right person to answer this because I prefer no pours(hate plastic waste) but I believe they sell both vented and non vented petris. Both will work for mushroom cultivation as far as I know.

When working in a SAB, say you get jerky and bump your box or table. What is the next move? Reset, get out of box, wait some time and resume?
I have also gotten up mid session, left the room for whatever reason and came back and resumed work after re-gloving
How shooty is that practice, and could/is it contributing to the green satellites I've been getting on transfers?
I will likely try and record a session tonight to get some more help/insight with my practice

i dont think reset is necesary, if for any reason you disturb the air in the SAB, after a minute it will become still again. i dont remember where i read that, maybe im wrong tho. anything that was exposed/open inside the sab at that moment is probably fcked
i dont think leaving and coming back after a while is a good idea and heres why imo: it might hurt the principle working behind a SAB, the water in the inside walls may evaporate, thus leaving the sab dry and letting contams fly free inside

If and when i bump the SAB i just keep still for a minute and let things settle. If i need to go out for a beer or to drain the lizard i just re iso my gloves and get back to work. I would recommend being careful to not open and close the door to the room too dramatically. Just keep the "still air" aspect of things in mind when you come back in and sit down.
The drying out of the SAB walls is not a huge concern. Half the time I don't even spray the SAB walls in the first place. But, i do believe it's a good idea.
