Yo gyps do you wear gloves? I know you have nerve problems so itโs would make sense if not, but thereโs gotta be someway to keep your hand from touching your work

How long would they last wrapped in the fridge? Do you wrap in the SAB or in front of filter?
Thanks for the answers folks!

Jst wrap em in the sab. Used to remove them first to make it easier. Didnt seem to have much of a problem then. Never fridge my shit.
I have some but they make it slightly more difficult to finger stuff. I thnk Boog and i were talking and he was saying that it doesnt really matter as far as actually touching shit your not suppose to touch. Bare hand, glove, balloon, condom, etc...you can only get it so sanitary, doesnt matter, you aint suppose to jam ur finger in a plate anyway. I cud see my hands shedding skin cells and shit where a glove may drastically cut down on stuff like that. Maybe i give it another go.

On the topic of transfers, what does everyone do to keep your plates from sliding around. My SAB sits on a plastic fold table and the plastic petris seems to slide all around on it. Everytime I try to pull the blade through it, the petri slides which is a real pain in the ass lol. Trying to figure out something to do to get better traction between the petris and the table

2 empty plates held together with some plastic wrap. The plastic wrap gives a little more traction than the smooth plastic dish. occasionaly needs a little hold if the scalpel gets a little snag. Also gives you a little elevation off the surface, some would use a baker rack for that.

Yeah I've been using two dishes as my "floor" so I'll throw some wrap around them and see if that helps
Edit: nevermind I found a solution lol

You could also use one of those metal wire racks made for baking inside the SAB, so stuff sits on the rack
Someone posted that they do this recently.. can't remember who

Go to the store and smell some mushrooms. Seriously. Spawn should smell just like the mushrooms it will grow. It's a pretty distinct smell, and it's not uncommon to not be able to describe it. It just smells like mushrooms
The other way to go about it is describe how it shouldn't smell! It shouldn't smell like dirty feet, or like a musty cabin, or mildew.

Depends on how thick you pour them, but 3-6 months. Wrap inside the SAB personally, but i don't take too much care on being super sterile because once the first layer of wrap is on, whatever is inside is staying inside, and what's outside is staying outside.

I couldn't find a good wire rack to fit my SAB, but i got lucky and someone on my street was throwing out a small dog cage. Pair of tin snips and pliers, a little crafty bending, perfecto.

Nice... there's always a way to get creative with this stuff. And there's plenty of free trash out there

Less vibration
I like big holes too

I've been looking everywhere for one of those multi-level racks after I saw yours mushboy. I have no idea what to search for on google/Amazon to find one though lol. I tried "multi-level drying rack", "multi-level cooking rack", "multi-level wire rack" and everything in between. I finally accepted defeat and realized that I'll find it when I least expect it. The same way I found my $5 American Harvest Dehydrator

Nah youre mostly right, as long as you wash your hands before a session and germx frequently during the session you should be fine. It's not like gloves are sterile anyways, theyre only as clean as the room they sit in.

Gan, if youre ballsy enough, go into walmart and look at the toaster oven models they have out. Open one up, theres 4 for ya, for the frizzle.

haha more than one way to do things
And are those multi level racks the ones where one level is directly above the other? I'm looking for one like mush's where it's set up like a set of stairs where each level is raised and behind the other. If that makes sense. I'm sure one will show up for me at some point.
