I think i have been misting my shoebox quite a lot... (three times a day) because i read there should be beads of moisture... But i believe i misted too much and it slowed growth a bit.
Any advice? Maybe fan? Take of the lid for a few hours? I have a shoebox 1:1.5 coir and a casing of coir aswell. Im the owner of the galindoi fruits that look like cubes

You've got decent looking pins! I can't say if you misted too much because who knows, maybe you didn't have the lid on? Check out my shoebox assembly tek (in sig) for how I run it without many issues, and I pretty much never water it As for right now, I'd leave it be and see how you fruits go. Just leave it be and let it finish growing, I promise it has enough hydration to finish up.

All the pros and cons on sub depth have been touched, but I've noticed poo based subs shrink more and a thicker sub seems to help keep it shrinking down instead of in if that makes sense

Hi people! I hope i am not being bothersome by asking so frequently. I promise i am using the search engine but havent found any clear answer yet.
I have some syringes about 1.5 years old in which spores germinated. I have tried several times to inoculate some plates puting a small drop on a loop and streaking but nothing grew.
My guess is i didnt get mycelium to brake and come out. I am thinking in ways i can achieve some safe and healthy growth.
Last time i inoculated an LC being aware of all the risks, and got to transfer some mycelium to a petri dish, got sort of lucky though it appeared to be clean on agar (although it grew quite slowly)
So what would be your take on this?
Cant wait to have some prints so i can throw these syringes to the trash tho.
Thank you to all of you! You have always been very suportive and without your help, patience and kind words i wouldnt have ever aconplished anything!

keep cleaning the agar culture and work from that. Odds are extremely slim that lc is fine, and slow growth is a bad sign.
Hard to say more without any kind of images.
Awesome crackatoa, hope they do well for you.

Thats the problem. When i nocced some plates with the syringes using one or two drops nothing grew, but when using more solution in an LC mycelium got to come out .
I dont know if i should try again with an LC just to grow some mycelium and go into agar or if i should squirt some into a sterilized glass and try to use the loop to transfer some mycelium (if the loop even has a chance to pick it up)

Try to make a small batch of grain. Inoculate it and use sterile tweezers to transfer anything to agar

putting a grain to agar is a good way to go but i'd more highly recommend streaking four or five plates. I'd skip the sterile glass step though. Just shake the hell out of the syringe to distribute the spores, flame the needle and loop, put a drip on the loop and streak the plate.
I took some pictures of myself doing this with an LC. Maybe they'll help. It's a ways down in the op.

Apparently he tried streaking and dripping, spore to grain is my last resort before giving up
Let me try to upload a pic and find out

That's called hitting the pe6 genetic lottery
Maybe 10% of pe6 grows from spore have pe characteristics from what Ive seen. I've grown it a bunch but never got any pe looking fruits sadly
