I am not at all concerned about a 20buck price difference between dropshippers atm. I needed plates, i got them, they're worth it.
They are packed signifigantly better, are indeed built like tanks, lids fit exceptionally well, much more erganomic to handle which makes it far easier for me to use with my nerve damage. Overall quality is jst several levels above any other cheaper dishes ive ordered.
Celltreat makes a buncha different kinds. These are specific.

an inch? damn. I've never gone that drastic on the edges. Promise is a big werd. I'll try it and get back to you. Ain't nobody got time to do that on every tub though. Unless it can happen way quicker than I'm imagining.

Has anyone else had trouble allowing certain members into a private journal since the hack? I can't seem to pull it off. I went into the thread, clicked "access", entered their usernames and hit update. But they still can't get in. What gives?

That was kind of a bold statement. Lol. But yes I have toataly fucked up the surface conditions on boxes done this way and still didn't get side pins. Didn't get a good flush either but I'm convinced that I would have got side pins. Really  I Pack it so tightly on the sides that mushrooms simply can't grow there so they have to find another option. I also have been prepping my coir too dry intentionally and misting as I spawn till it's just right. Then " case it" with coir and mist that till it's glistening. Basically I do the same thing as Shapers shoebox assembly Tek. Haven't seen a side pins for 6 months

So I need a case of plates too. What is the difference between the cheaper ones and the more expensive ones? Just the quality of plastic? I hate to order a case of something only to discover I would have preferred a different brand. I have seen them from 58$ to 108. Is one really worth more than the other? My gut tells me to get the cheap ones but on the other hand I have regretted doing that in the past...

Quality of plastic is one thing...I prefer the more expensive celltreat plates w/grip ring over the cheap ones... Plus I haven't got a broke dish from them yet

Hell ill give them a shot. Not sure what a grip ring is ill have to look at them. But it sounds nice. One problem I have while pouring is I'm half blind and it can be hard to tell if I am grabbing the top of the plate I want or the bottom of the plate I don't want. Is the ring on the outside of the olate for handling or is it inside of the plate to seal better?

Hold up now whats up with this grip ring? I order the exact ones i linked and i have in fact received broken ones.. Actually 3 out of the 20 had 4 broken plates in them, 2 top and 2 bottom... But honestly the plates that made it are fucking great. Theyre packed in polybags and all that.

But ive never seen the ones with the grip ring...? how beneficial is the grip ring?

These are the ones i get. They come in sleeves of ten and are nicely packaged. I think i've seen one or two cracked out of a few thousand but i can't be sure.

product code 229693 vs your 229695. Different plates for sure.

for a 500 case of standard 100mm celltreat petris? I think the specific listing that i order on amazon is 73 dollars without shipping. shipping is like 10.

I saw the listing for the ones with grip rings last night and it was significantly more, are they really worth it?

And dude those stack of ten sound fucking perfect, I would love to be able to just pour 10 plates at a time. do they come in 500 cases? I dont think the celltreat website will let me order from them, i dont have a scientist reference code

Hold up the celltreat website doesnt have 229693 product code anymore... lol i want those shits damnit

www.amazon.com

Celltreat-229693-Non-Treated-Sterile-15-16mL

try that. You can get them "non prime" for 99 bucks but the quickness of shipping with prime is worth the few dollars extra

For myself the grip ring makes opening and closing the dishes much easier and cleaner a procedure.

Buy what you can afford at the time. They all do the same exact thing.

Sure man, i mean, fuck, pasty plates do the same thing and cost almost nothing if you get a good number of uses out of them. I just do too much agar work to be working with plates I don't love. I Love cell treat dishes. Falcon makes great dishes too but they are way pricey

Hey Yesum, cant snd you pm, says 'needs valid email address.'
Jerky is on the way. Prolly arrive Sat.

I never used pasty plates cuz i cant see in them very well.
I like to look down and clearly see shit. Plus them are kinda bulky and awkward to handle.

Relatively small surface for the myc to grow on, and for me to work in.
