I've been thinking of an impulse sealer (I either do the FisherFold or use zipties) but heard they can be twice as much of a PITA when trying to figure out settings, or when bags ave varying moisture content.
Any impulse sealer pros/advocates around?

I have one. I use it to seal em after I inoculate. The only thig I dislike is cutting the bag open to inoculate. I'm gonna go use it to seal these bags and run rm again. That or run a bunch of quarts. Maybe I'll just fo the quarts. Very frustrated.

Yeah until this run It always worked. I did try a different folding technique someone wrote up, but idk why it failed and in different ways on different bags ot seems. I have run sealed and folded before on different occasions before.

You already have some shrooms in there? I would move to a new area, salt & cover the trich spot to try and stop the spores, possibly slow it down, until fruits are more mature or outbreak gets wild. Pick anything close to the outbreak.

I wouldn't waste the salt. I just let em run their course and toss after harvest. Pick em as appropriate.

How many flushes do you let them go? Are you letting them run until they have nothing left to give, and still never got trich into the "X"nth flush until now? If so THAT is impressive.

Are Copelandia Hawaii and Copelandia Jamaica both Panaeolus Cyanescens? Are there any differences besides their origin? Is the same grow rek used for both? Is the LC recepie the same like for Cubensis 2% dextrose and 2% malt extraxt or 4% honey? Thank you!

If its got well developed pins and not a big outbreak, I put a little splash of isopropyl on the trich patch and fruit it in the moldy back storage room of my house and harvest early before dumping it. If its barely pinning and the trich is already rampant Its probably not worth keeping around.

So I tried out my first ever agar 2 grain 6 days ago and I haven't seen any futher growth on the mycelium contained agar wedges. Should I be seeing any signs of mycelium growth onto the grains by now? Doesn't look like the mycelium is feasting on the agar wedge either?

Yeah it should start growing on the agar in 24-48 hours and by 6 days you should have a fair jump off onto the grain,
Was the grain cooled off?

Nope the jars was still fairly hot. Do you think the heat killed the mycelium?

Sounds like it. Compared to a bottle of agar at pouring temp, how hot was it?

I would say hotter than that after coming out of the pressure cooker 1 hour after reaching 0psi. I used pasty's agar plate tek, so I don't really know what temp a bottle of agar at pouring temp would feel like.
I guess I will wait a few more days 2 see any sign of growth.. If nothing happens I will get some other grains going to make sure I do this properly..

Do you guys take clones of clones of clones? Is it wise to use your fruiting chamber as a way to isolate genetics? Just keep cloning for the phenotype you most desire?

Depends on the strain, i usually get 3 out of PE6 (which is stupid easy to grow for some reason and makes fat fruit) i may have had some mold 2-3 flushes in but i don't recall it, just been super lucky, i usually fruit in a small 8x10 room in my basement.. this time i had the tubs upstairs where there is more air flow so, my fault
Was a shit grow all around.. 1 flush from a PE6 tub and it looks like it's done.. the 1 puerto rican tub that fruited has tons of fruit but they are super thin and no weight ah well.. i need to go back and be more diligent on my sterile and shit.. i know i am getting lazy and paying for it
