I live downtown Google feed store.
If you get no results try the nearest smallest city. Usually have 1-2 around most cities

Because i tend to derail shit i'll post here :P
I'm about to construct my first SGFC and have all the stuff. Cakes won't be ready for at LEAST 2 weeks I reckon so I have some time to kick this around. I grow weed in straight perlite so I have lots around. However, lots of times I used recycled stuff that I soak/float in a bath of enzyme cleaner (hygrozyme type) and saponins to remove the salts and "sterilize" the stuff for reuse. I will likely have fresh stuff, but out of curiosity, I'm wondering if "dirty" perlite would matter as the cakes are fully colonized and consolidated?

Just plan ahead get 100 lbs call it good for a little bit (or more if needed)
I've been managing to get rye for cheaper then wbs lately. Finally found a store, just needed to type in a different city name near me followed by feed store.

You can rinse the perlite with water. Should be fine for your SGFC. The cakes do not touch to the perlite if you place them on saucers.

Growing mushrooms? Don't tell me you go through life thinking retail people care what you're doing? That's unhealthy. Makes people paranoid. Has unhealthy effects on the ego. Bask in the fact that nobody gives a shit. If they ask questions which are none of their business, they should expect some whack ass answers.

Why so few use milo here? Is it a regional thing?

Seriously I don't see why people even feel the need to tell retail employees a lie when buying supplies. I've seen it discussed several times now. I've literally never had some cashier ask me why I was buying 10 bags of coir or ordering in 2 50lb bags of rye. They aren't payed to care.

Tell them you're bored and your going to try making your own breads and stuff from scratch with seed or you do art mosaics from seeds. It's really none of their business. I don't shop at stores where people ask me about personal things like that. They're vendors, not cop wannabes.

This lol When I was a grower I used 3.5 gallon trash cans. I bought 25 at a time, never a question.

I've had a few people ask me what I'm buying things like straw and grain for. I tell them I grow reishi, lion's mane and oysters.

LOL, I've been asked, "why all the garbage cans?" I said I worked for a janitorial service. But yeah, I could have said anything or nothing. It was a fuckin' dollar store!

Just looked at southern states site.
50lbs of hybrid pearl dwarf Millet seed for 70 bucks? That doesn't sound right.
25lbs of white Millet for 13 bucks. That sounds better.
