So my localendar TSC changed into a Pevymart. Now I need a new grain source. Anyway I found some WBS at a really good price. It contains mostly millet, wheat and milo. It has almoste no sunflower seeds. My only concern is it contains mineral oil. Do you guys think this will be a problem?

Oily bird seed mixes tended to colonize slower for me. I used to do finch seed and abandoned it because of that. I did get mushrooms in the end, just it struggled to colonize the shit.
Muda just go right to a farmer. There has gotta be loads of em by you. Get onto kijiji or craigslist and you can probably get hooked the fuck up.

Had some shitty looking jars of tamp (bacteria), so I put a handful of potting soil on each and threw them in a mono...

Finch mixes tend to have nearly no sunflower seeds but often have added oils. Those ones you posted are probably fine.
I can't imagine messing with WBS again. Want millet then get millet. Want wheat or rye or oats then get those.
