Local brewery for LME and grain? I feel like seen one of you on here recommend it. I could use Prime, but if I can go local then why not.

They might have lme at a brewery for adjusting gravities or other small projects. But they probably wont sell any to you. As for grain the brewing grain is malted. It is no good for growing on. Malted grains insides dissolve in water.

Small bags are fine. But imagine it being in a paper grocery bag 4 times bigger and heavier. You cut the entire top off with a box cutter. Instantly starts absorbing moisture

I added emphasis so you can see where terminology is fucking with you. A brewery makes beer, a home brew store sells supplies to home brewers.

Now I see says the blind man....as he pisses into the wind, its all coming back to me now. Thanks Shaper! Makes better sense now, I kinda thought any local "brewery" doubled also like a hobby shop. But that clarification makes it clear

Only issue it has is has discoloration inside on the bottom from using Mason jar rings to raise the trivet. Looking to get $175 shipping cost, but I'm open to offers. Sorry it's kinda dusty, I've had it in storage. I'll have to clean it up nice and shiney and take some new pics. PM me if interested

Maybe better suited for marketplace?

Yeah I posted there, but I know not as many people seem to checkout the marketplace as they do general cult. Anyways if anyone has a reasonable offer I'm open to it

Bells brewing in Michigan is the only brewery ive seen that sells Homebrew supplies. Some breweries partner with homebrew stores to sell beer kits for their brews. At least the cool ones not all stupidly worried about "secret formulas"

so now I am running into jars being funky gotta be my grain prep .. but I do 24 hours let dry load and PC for 2.10 hours .. same as always some of the grain looks caramelized I wonder if I am cooking them too high ? Usually they are right around 18 but the same as i always have prepped and cooked .. these loose grain some are softer then others and as you can see there are wetter grains in the jar along with the drier ones .. maybe this wheat is not the quality it used to be .. different batch .. I will try to boil and see how they look maybe cut the cook time to 2 hours even .. what do you guys think ??
Edit I made it's own post I think it will get more attention there

First time working with shoeboxes. From my understanding, I really don’t have to do anything different then a monotub, right? I put grains into it two days ago and it is already colonizing nicely. I imagine I can just keep the lid on until I start to see pins and that sort of thing? I should not have to mist for my first flush, yes? I believe I was that good field capacity.

With shoeboxes, you really don't do anything... like at all... I might mist once before first flush harvest
Clean spawn, field capacity coir, set and forget for 2-3 weeks

Is this ready to case with verm and fruit? Lipa tekd fuel pellets and colonized grain spawn of king oysters Ive got 4 more pints that i poured the spawn in the middle that are not quite as completely colonized as this oney ///
In the middle are 2 oyster sawdust blocks and above them, 5 pints ill try and fruit mudda style My question is, is there any danger or problem having them in there with my cubes and the light? The closet is breathable and really just serves as a means to "contain" everything I know light and all that is beneficial for cubes all the way thru, same for oysters?
