Ok so I know next to nothing about building a flow hood so no laughing at my question lol. I was just thinking why wouldn't the blower part to a leaf blower or a hand held snowblower work for a blower to a hepa? Could one work? Would it be powerful enough?

I'm learning how to build one right now, and my only answer to this is that it would be way harder to build with one of those. Blowers are around $150, which is likely the price of a leaf blower/snow blower that would be powerful enough, but you don't have to disassemble the blower and wonk around with some weird housing to fit it

Get up with an hvac company: they typically have to scrap the old units, and might snag a blower for REAL cheap... even free!
Prints are inherently filthy anyways: typically, the fruit are grown in open air and thus exposed to all sorts of floating goodies

What is considered "Done colonizing" for jars and bulk substrate? Would that be when all nutrition is gone?

Completely colonized... white/no bare/uncolonized portion... NOT PARTIALLY colinized? Im confused to what you're asking... when is a glass completely full? the nutrition isn't gone until long after cubensis is done with it and trich/ bacteria sets in and dies off... it's likely feeding on SOMETHING with sustenance...

They say pinning trigger is fully colonized bulk substrate. But I see photos of half colonized substrate fruiting. I'm just trying to get an understanding.

It's not really common for something to pin before colonization, for most strains. It's often from a contam or something forcing it to do a last ditch effort.

Bacteria is often blamed for early pinning/fruiting, other things like increased FAE, light cycles, and temperature fluctuations can be triggers too.

Alright! I'm just trying to compare my grow to other grows and it's not looking the same, to be honest.

Post a fucking picture nimrod? Lol
Though those are pinning triggers for other species, the only pinning triggers for cubensis are full colonization and evaporation... if it pins before being fully colonized, it's contaminated and trying to propagate quickly...

That's fully colonized, and bacterial... and needs air... IMO... is it in a dark bucket? 12/12 lighting from spore to spent... NEVER in the dark without oxygen in nature; shouldn't be a part of YOUR process either... update your sources as practices evolve rather quickly and bad habits develop easily

I use a 12/12 light cycle and fan 3 times a day. The yellow only comes out when I must either from bacteria or the cow shit. If I give it more air is it likely to pin? I have a freezer bag over top with a few holes in it.

Def looks bacterial and wet. Stop paying attention to it for 5 days and see what happens. I’m the meantime, get some more projects going with coir and shoeboxes.

The jars from the other day, they’re recovering nicely. Looks like they’ll be ok to fruit. Hopefully they’ll be fully colonized by the weekend.

I have some WBS jars growing and have 5 BRF that should be ready to go. I don't use coir cause I have an unlimited amount of cow shit.
Edit: Should I fruit them in-vitro or just as cakes?

my modestly educated opinion, almost certainly not, unless your filter surface was under one square foot, or it was a walk-behind style leaf blower. they aren't designed to blow high enough air volume thru high enough resistance.
caps is right, tho. used blower motors can be had for little or no money. the challenge there is matching the blower to the filter, since a/c motors aren't directly variable speed the way dc motors are.

I’d birth the cakes per sop. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with shit...just make sure it’s pasteurized properly. I usually mix in some verm and chopped straw. Would still recommend some shoeboxes...the dimensions provide conditions for easy fruiting with little fuss.

This is correct. My other two grows I used cow poop, vermiculite, and straw. This grows I used that in one container and just poop and vermiculite.
I work on a huge dairy farm and pretty much work in it. I do want to try coir but the vehicle I use is for work and I can't use it to run to town. They have that colored fuel and they check that around here.
