I get wheat for $7 for 50# locally fuck 68 bucks. That's a little less then 500 lbs for me.
I second that wheat is very close to rye! I pay $15-17 for 50lb bag but still wayyy cheaper then rye.

Sterilize any liquid for 25-40 minutes ... I'd say 25 is suitable for no pours, given the low amount of liquid in each container

Contact bakers, I hear they have the hookup at those prices. I'm good with oats tho, so I don't bother. Feed stores are easier than talking shop at a bakery.

I had all of my oats contam, (approx. 40 jars) it was probably the oats I got, I couldnt just throw them out or give them away, I live in a city... I use WBS now, much easier, and no contams so far.. a bit pricey, but better than throwing out every jar...

Or dry them well enough: (idk if it was mold or bacteria) I've gone through 300lbs, no rinse... never an issue I couldn't attribute directly to something else

Sometimes grain just doesn't work.
I recommend switching grains.

Curb that paranoia. Aint no reason to not just throw the shit in the trash. Even if you get a rummager, they aint gonna know what the fuck you intended to use those grains for. Be realistic. It would be one thing if it was spent subs covered in aborts, but cooked grains are not illegal and do not point towards anything illegal.
If anything, they probably would think you fucked up a home brewed beer, but I seriously doubt anyone would even put that much thought into it. Its the trash, dude. The only people going through it are bums looking for receipts, maybe some occasional food.

This is very true in my experience. I bought most of my supplies from Walmart and was asked by two people if I was getting my garden ready. They have no idea and most likely don't care.

Damn and I thought I was paranoid... ive got 20 auto flowers in my yard with no cover. Every time I hear a chopper in the sky I shit my self.
I just ordered a big ass green house to hid them but between the auto flowers and 12 fruiting shoeboxes, when ever I smoke too much weed (every night lol) I think the feds is coming.

I finally found a farm store that has 50 pound bags. 11 bucks lol. Been cooking them all day. Reminds me a lot of rye. Prep is so much simpler than oats because they dry fast. Also gonna be my first experience with bags, so we'll see how it goes.
Anyone have recommendations an loading them in a presto? I don't really want to use tyvek, just fold the ends up and layer? What about getting them out of the pressure cooker?

I fold over the filter once over itself and tuck the bags so they keep the fold tight.. I use pint jars to lift the bags out of the water and can fit 4 in my presto
