Celltreat cases off Amazon. 15 x 100 are my favorite. Cheapest high quality dishes around. You can find cheaper cases but I hate flimsy dishes.

60.
I dont think so just add cool water works and doesnt heat up any unwanted seed that would be prone to mold.

I like 60mm for pint master cultures, and 100mm dishes for transfers and test quarts
I've reheated moldy coir and used it with success... wasn't trich though: likely penicilium

I used to buy celltreat dishes they were 70-75 a case now the model I like are 100 bucks. Can’t afford that. But there are some other celltreat ones for 80 or so I guess I’ll get those.

I use a quart mason jar for measuring in terms of "quarts". From how I talk about spawn, and sub. To how much water for hydrating coir. 3 quarts to me is just a quart mason jar filled below the brim 3 times?
are my numbers off going about it like that? I see talk of mycoquart and Im not sure if I need to redo some ratios?

Yeah, that's a quart/mycoquart. Myco just means it has room for g2g transfers and the abilty to shake. You really shouldn't have your brf/grains/etc up to the brim like that, so a myco quart is a little less. It's basically just "not quite a full quart, but you get the idea"

Anyone that knows; Is Reishi "supposed" to be spawned in front of a FH or in a SAB, or can it be spawned in open air?

The species has nothing to do with it. Your substrate has everything to do with it.
Sterilized substrates in general must be spawned to sterile (besides coir)
Pasteurised substrate can be spawned to in open air.

I am about to order another 50lb bag of rye, and it's fuck $68 now. Is it worth continuing to use rye berries or is it time to switch over? Whats everyone using these days? I just continue using rye because it's what I know and is simple...
