I think that's the worst part. IT's like, fuck if I don't do it now it's gonna get so much worse. Then a few days go by and I start considering if I should just throw the whole fucking tub out
But I'm too cheap
I wish my backyard was more fenced in so I could feel safe just dumping them way in the back but it's kinda open (chain link, see through) so it's a whole process in itself. Need to figure that out.

Someone just tried to tell me that air drying was better then using a dehydrator. He said he air dried over 4 days or so, and that you didn't want them too dry. Like wut? Really?

It was irl, meet a dude, said he had been growing for 25 years, I showed him my PE blobs and he didn't know what to make of it, then blamed it on my dehydrator, and told me he fan dries his over a rack. I thought it was a joke, but nope, very serious.

I have a couple big bin composters. It's more the walking to and from the composter with giant monotubs filled with spent or moldy subs to dump that sketches me out. Neighbours from all sides can see into the backyard and might start to wonder wtf I'm doing.
Honestly most people probably wouldn't care or think anything of it and most people aren't staring out their windows constantly but...paranoia

I would dump em into eachother and then take em out after dark. Anyone asks just say you're composting. It would help to toss some food scraps bnb in the mix. Nobody's gonna question orange peels n shit like that.

Worm bin on the back patio or even in the laundry room, kitchen etc, just make a big ass wooden box with a lid, buy a bunch of red wigglers and watch them go to town. Just make sure to bury contaminated subs and food scraps so you dont have trich and gnats flying around everywhere.

I also made some prints, so if all else fails I can put those to agar as well.
I usually see growth starting within two days or so.
Awesome, thanks! Gonna get some sterile q tips and make some spore swabs too and then put those immediately on some plates. Realized my kitchen scale was highly inaccurate so the clones I made yesterday probably are no good from the agar being disproportionate.

Anybody know of any good pan cyan links to read through or teks?
I’ve been reading the past few days and don’t really see what I’m looking for. I know it’s the same as far as agar > Grains > then spawn to a manure based substrate but as far as fruiting chambers and what not in not seeing what im looking for. A lot of the links are like 15 years old with no pictures and outdated

Yeah I guess I have to look into how to build the greenhouses. I was hoping a SGFC would suffice haven’t used it since my first grow. Didn’t want to go all in on building a greenhouse until I tried running them once or twice.

That's why I like these bags. Once the substrate is spent. I just take it out of the bag. Trash the plastic into my garage can. And I launch the ball of substrate/mycelium off my back porch into the fields. Practice for hi arc softball
I cant do that with my tubs. Lol

Thanks This seems to be the verdict it’s a long thread but time for me to get reading. I’m guessing that will have all of the information as I continue reading. I think the fruiting chamber is the main thing I’m worried about. Looked at a bunch of greenhouse write ups last night for a few hours.
