It's been a few days since harvest and no sign of a real second flush on my tub :l
I put in like two glasses of water to rehydrate it, spread it around the sub and down the sides, when I went to drain it out it had absorbed almost everything.
Any ideas?

Just coir/verm? I would use it within a week. You should try to use it as fast as possible. It might work to use it even after two weeks but IMO it adds a risk that isn't worth it. Try to calculate the substrate you need. I toss leftover substrate in my garden.

Also is there any good reason for fruiting right when I spawn as opposed to letting my spawn fully colonize in a tub before fruiting? It will be rye berries to coir/verm to tub.

would you need to add any water if sealed in a bucket(painters)? i really doubt it
for various reasons i did a good ol' bucket run of cv(forgot the G ) and cant use it for a week. it will have been laying around for almost three weeks at that point.

Only harvesting around a week sooner and extra tape on the roll.

It's not that new, but I never tried it. Especially at the beginning I just stick with things proven by hundreds of TCs in hundreds of projects, after gainign some more knowledge and experice I will try new things
