The milo component of my WBS stays somewhat hard even after soak/PCing

Ok yeah I just was wondering cause I soaked for 30 hours I can tell they are hydrated just doesnt seem like the other grains I have used I may have to boil ...
I'm loading these up somewhat wet and will check a jar after PC to see what they are like to the touch

FrankHorrigan has a thread on the subject too. I am going to try it out one of these days. He mentions how if the grain is colonizing in a week or so it's probably not necessary since it retains a lot more moisture. He seemed to do it quite a bit without any issues.
I got a feeling I'll try it and lose every tub

Yeah I follow SpitballJedi's tek for WBS and it works out pretty well. I used to do close to a 24hr soak (in really hot tap water) and load a bit wet, but I found that was turning out just a bit too wet after PCing. Closer to 12 hours seems to be the sweet spot for the blend I'm using. Of course, I think my blend is only around 15-20% milo
I've heard about basically bucket tek-ing WBS though, just soaking in boiling water for around 30-45 mins after rinsing, then loading up wet, and I definitely want to try that.

It works. Works well. How I'm currently doing it. Except I let mine soak for a hour or whenever i remember. If u have enough seed in the pot it doesn't really matter so much on the time. If your not loading your pot right up. U have to watch the times more because you'll start to get burst seeds

Yeah these aren't too wet I let dry to what I feel would be correct after the PC.. I'd say with the way the inside looks it should come put with proper moisture... if not well grain is cheap haha

People are just too damn sensitive about everything... come on it's funny if we talk about honky ass crackers but say a black joke and everyone loses their damn minds... it's ok to talk about white people because of the fucked up media and how people say "the white man is at fault for every hate crime" come on if we cant laugh at something that is supposed to be funny then what's the point of socializing ?? I for one am proud to be a honky ass cracker and can laugh at my own faults with no grudge towards the jokester
I see your point in there are places for stuff like that but we are all adults here

it's not about being sensitive, it's about proper places to post things. none of the last half of the page has anything to do with mush cult. am I the only one who thinks honey has no use in this hobby?

Works great in PDA . I've been using it as opposed to karo because the salt and vanilla seem extraneous
