So.. curiosity makes me have to ask.. if we spawn into coir, which has no nutes at all.. would it help to add some type of nutrient to it to get bigger fruits? kinda like growing weed in coco or hydro.. Or is just the grain that gets mixed in plenty? was just a random thought. i'm sure tons of people have tried adding nutes.

The consensus seems to think that this is your answer. I've eeked out a 7th flush before just using coir. It went green promptly after and was pushing an 8th flush I decided wasn't worth salvaging.
Also, it's debatable if there are actually 0 neuts in coir. It's very low neuts for sure, but unlikely 0. Verm is 0.

Coir doesn't have zero nutes from what I've researched.

Coir isnt completely devoid of nutes. Enriching it just means you have to properly pasteurize

Grains are the bulk of the food, additives are for fiber(mainly for me just to keep the sub together) minerals an the microbes. Leave a couple grains in your agar plate a see how myc explodes from it.
Outdoor exotics might/probably benefit from feedings if u give them the right food.

Hey do you guys think as far as some of my 4 and 5 year old prints I should make the agar say 12 12 to 1000??? Or maybe 10 agar 12 nutes and 1000ml i know soaking old spores is a good way to bring back to life but wouldn't just super wet agar be the same and actually more beneficial??

If you're looking for "wetter" agar, I recommend looking into Cap's SAGARI tek

I appreciate it I am pretty confident on my agar making skills just wondering about using old spores on wetter agar or if it's more important to soak the spores first then drop them

This is common. It's usually referred to as soft agar. Here's a screenshot from my agar spreadsheet that calculates my various agar needs:

Those are the ratios I usually use. Sometimes if the agar doesn't mix evenly enough, some of the plates won't solidify all the way. But it's usually fine. I'm going to germinate some old prints tonight actually. YEAH!
Oh, also the plates that don't solidify all the way are totally fine for germination, too. It's just not a solid transfer to the next plate, but this is fine. These are the ratios I'd use to dump into sterilized water and make BLI per Munch.

Ok I figured I just couldn't remember if just a sterile water soak was used then dropping ... i get the kilo of agar agar from the UK and i have to mix less say 17 to 18 grams per 1000 to be at the same as a 20 gram of other powder i have used ... but some of the spores aren't doing anything yet so i was just gonna make some new shit and make it a bit more soft

I agree. But despite nutrition it depends on the organisms ability to metabolize it. For instance we don't metabolize fiber so it is non nutritional to humans but is plenty nutritional to bacteria and fungi capable of breaking it down

I know I grew it myself tho. I just thought it looked neat! Bacteria Matters!
It's pretty fucked tho. I'm going to see where it goes, and what colors happen.
