Lol yea I've never had a bug problem (knock on wood). But if I did I prolly cook them to lol. Only problem I've had with my oats is quality control imo, I'm always finding either soy beans or little compressed pellets.

I throw diatomaceous earth into my grains. Keeps them free of insects before and after prep.

Does anyone grow them in the dark?
You can clone stones from plates to get a good stone producing variety but you don't have to have 4 or 6...One will do.
I have some really good yielding stone producers that were isolated from sections that were more orange in color but had no visible stones. So you can get good producing varieties both ways.
I use a very dim light which is on a 12/12 cycle in my spawn room and that's where the stone producers are kept as well.

Was wondering how often you guys wash your PCs out. Do you was them every time, or not at all? Iβm thinking running it is enough to clean it out since the heat sterilizes anyway.

I hear you can use cream of tartar to get rid of any rust inside. Mines kinda getting discolored. Good to know Iβm not the only one who doesnβt clean theirs.

I think bodhi has a trek or at least described his way If i can remember he used Epsom salt and vinegar and a fine steel wool ... like 000 or 0000 ... also like ed said the vinegar in a cycle will cut through everything ... I dont clran just cause there is no point I dont believe I dont think it will damage the PC for it being crusty ..
Ed what's up man how you been??

Thanks for the tips guys. Iβll put vinegar in when I run it tonight. Mines clean enough to where I donβt need to scrub it yet.

Personally, I wouldn't use an abrasive (like steel wool) on the inside of my PC. It will remove the oxide layer which has developed on the surface, then a new layer of oxide will form when exposed to oxygen. So if anything, the metal would degrade faster with regular abrasion. Albeit that layer is microscopic in thickness, so any effect may be negligible.
I do find that the vinegar cuts down on the hard water deposits a bit though, which is nice. All I do is make sure it's dry before I store it, and wash it out with hot soapy water if I'm cooking stock in it or something. But that's just me.

Fine steel wool is safe for chrome and other shit I use it to polish my Harley wheels .. but I could of been wrong about bodhi using that again it was over 2 years ago or so that I thought I remembered reading that

I believe it, just a thought. Everything is an abrasive to some extent. Actually, now that I think about it, polishing is a form of abrasion that can make metal surfaces more durable because it leaves the surface smoother (microscopically) and therefore less susceptible to degradation. At least that's true with edge tools .
Suppose it's all about the size of the abrasive in question, I doubt I would see you using 80 grit sandpaper on your Harley, lol

You're right I mean when you polish you still are using really fine grit and that was a bad use of the word on my part Haha I "clean" them .. 0000 steel wool is super fine and if you have worked with chrome you know it scratches easy I am not sure if using it on the aluminum PC would do any damage honestly and again I may have thrown bodhi under the bus by mistake of years of drug use and trying to remember the past Haha

Steel wool is not my first choice to polish chrome with, the little bits of steel supposedly get embedded in it and start to rust. Sounds weird but aluminum foil will get out rust spots, a green scrub pad if it's really bad. Best choice is real chrome polish with whatever it says to use on the container.
But anyway, adding a little vinegar (I think it's in bod's how to use a pc tek) is supposed to deal with the hard water deposits people get in their PCs (I don't because our water is very soft)
