it's $10 for a case of tyvek sleeves. the fisherman fold thread has a ~50% chance of failure from those that have tried it. $10 for reusable sleeves is a worth while investment to serious cultivators.

I've had 100% success with the fold. About 30 bags in at this point.
Serious cultivators fold their substrate bags just like that. The grains aren't any different than substrate.

Serious cultivators fold their substrate bags just like that by the hundred. The grains aren't any different than substrate.
But back to my question, what are you going for here? You said you're using tyvek and you don't want to? That's how I read it at least.

Why did you opt to purchase a suit over individual sleeves?

Leftovers can be canned immediately with no need ... if say an hour would suffice... you'd think?

Maybe shortest time i can find is 75 at 15psi for pints. But these all seem undercooked compared to mine

I think I am going to start using BRF slurry a lot more often. I have jars knocked up on Dec 22 that are almost catching up/ some surpassing jars that were done December 14th with LC...

Slurries are cool but weird. Mine would show no growth for like 3-4 days then all of a sudden. In like 24-48 hours later there completely white. Sometimes even colonizing faster then a contam that's in there.

The presto manual has some great recipes with time and pressure instructions. I canned some christmas pickles. Just a submerged boil tho, no pressure for those.
