Was there someone on here talking about how they don't even pasteurize their coir any more? They just add a little bit of hot and break it up and add water to capacity?

Lol truth. Bucket tek isnt pasteurization and coir just dont need it. Ive even used room temp water but myc likes cooked shit better. If youre properly pasteurizing then youre wasting your money on coir

I just did 5 bags in this guy. 3 G2G, 1 LC via syringe, and 1 LI via pour. Definitely enough room. Right now I'm just trying to find the right level for comfortable entry holes and vision.

It's painter's plastic with Saran for the viewing area. I was hoping the painter's plastic would be clear enough to go solo, but nope. I might try mover's stretch wrap at some point since it's basically cling wrap, but way wider and sturdier.

Up next, this version, which is only Saran and some tape:

Going to slice arm holes in it with my scalpel later tonight. And then depending on which tote I like best, I'm likely using my hole saw to drill armholes in the lid for a permanent bag SAB.

Everyone always tries finding the "tallest" SAB. I've yet to see someone just flip a 105 quart tote on it's side and turn the lid into the entry.

Why not just make the holes square?

That's what I did for my 200qt sab didn't bother nothing and gave me more room.

fellow canadians, I don't know if the sale is the same canada wide, but in Canadian Tire's Ontario stores (And possibly all stores) the 6 litre shoeboxes are on sale for $1.50. These are normally like $3-$5 here so good time to stock up. Sale ends tomorrow or next day though.

Also, 50litre and 60litre clear "omnibox" or "type a" tubs with clear view lid as well are on sale for $9 and $10
Perfect for monotubs and Canada can be pretty pricey on totes! (these are 50% off, regular is like $17 bucks or something ridiculous)

I'm going to stock up when it opens

I don't see an advantage over square to circle and since I'm using hole saws for the final product, I think the prototypes should be similarly sized/shaped. It's just for decoration. That's it and that's all, mayne.

No advantage besides cutting a square is way way easier than cutting a circle but since your using a hole saw (I assume 6in) then fukkit.

Cutting a circle is a breeze with a hole saw.

Nice bags Lions mane?

I use a hole saw for my tubs 1.5 inches.  I think the recommended is 1.25 idc it works well.

I actually just bought some nice bimetal hole saws for cutting into my barrels to add pipes.

I didn't even know what an arbor was until this morning

Good work

I got some plugs of Lions mane for logs in going to use whenever I cut down these oak trees. Such a pretty mushroom.
