I assume u meant tips.
Tighter polly to start, looser poly when it's colonized.

Adden said: When I'm out camping I'll lay caps on my boots and pack and other gear. Then by morning or next picking I'll have spore laden gear. There's trillions of spores in shoelaces, it's how cyans end up outside of bus stops. Game trails, those rabbits and deer brush by them and run them all over the place. Peoples dogs too, as they don't eat them. I take large sheets of foil and print hundreds at a time, then load those into water bottles and walk around parks slowly letting spore solution out. Other times if the weather is bad I'll rub old matures on my rain gear and slicker with mud boots. Every little bit helps. Or if a chip dislodged while snipping then take them and toss them where other mushrooms grow. =) Some guy here who does a lot of city picking always prints on his shoes the night before he goes out.
thats pretty clever

as close as ive come so far... will keep looking. I know I've seen all kinds of spring loaded tools.

BrutusIsBig said: Hello shroomers -- 100% newbie, 1st-time grower here. I prepped & pressure-cooked BRF jars last night that it turns out I will not be using today or very soon, after all. I'm about to leave town & am wondering if there any storage steps I can take for reusing these unused, pressure-cooked, substrate-filled 1/2-pint jars in a couple of weeks? Specifically:
1. Can they be reused & inoculated in a couple of weeks? 2. Would storing them in a freezer, cabinet, etc., help with reusing them? 3. Should I put them through another round of pressure cooking or non-PC stovestop sterilization before reusing? 4. Would I be better off just writing them off, discarding substrate, and starting all over again when I'm again ready to inoculate?
And my last question: Is there a better place on shroomery to post this query?
Many thanks!

Mad Season said: Apparently it makes it have a much lower yield for 2nd flush. Idk exactly how true it is, or if subsequent flushes are actually from spores, and not an excessive loss of moisture during first flush, but it does seem to have some merit and proof to back it up that the later flushes do suffer from a massive spore drop.
the spores preach abstinence to the mycelium which prevents it from wanting to reproduce

It does fine on cakes and cakes are best fruited as cakes. This is PE Uncut.

If u are just starting out and have problems succeeding with bulk, u need to toss the LCs. LCs will beat down a beginner worse than Mickey Gall beat down CM Punk. Also never put spores on grains.
Put you contaminated shit back outside.
Start with Pastywhytes easy agar tek and go forward from there. It'll make things a lot easier. Also popcorn is awful.

yes. why make it harder on yourself with a dirty swab?
