Looking for a little ID help
    #23527874 - 08/10/16 10:39 AM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Cow pasture on the 2 suspected cubes and just in the paste under a tree on the others
Gills: attached and brown on 2 larger cubes. the smaller dark brown not attached

Stem:
Cubes. Hollow .5 to 1 cm very light bluing. With dark veil.  The smaller ones 3mm hollow and fragile turned blue an hour after picking no veil

Caps: the 2 are light brown in center, 4 to 5 cm.  The others are 2cm to .75 cm. Light brownish grey. Very gentle bluing where bruised

Spore print color:
Cubes are purple.  Other are black

Bruising: the two have very light bluing on stems but not on the cap when stem was removed.  The others stems blue and gentle blue on caps

Other info:
New to picking in southern Lousianna and probably a little hot right now but ran accross these.  They look to be P. Cubensis and panaeolus cyanesens.

:mushroom2: Nice cubes!
Panaeolus cyanescens looks possible for the others. They are bruising blue right? Looks like it from the photos.

Wait until someone more familiar with them can confirm.

Deff cubes in the first pica, and the others may be cyanescens; whats the bruising like? It's normally quite obvious to tell if they are bruising a lot, especially on the cap.
