Lets look back to the early 90's when NAFTA was marketed and voted into law by Congress, it was a close vote and the vast majority of Democratic Congressmen were against passing it, today it's very hard to even find liberal politicans that are against "free trade".
Times have changed, but I still give Bernie and Trump the most credit for fighting against those policies, I would never speculate on what would happen once one of them got elected because politicians always let us down in so many ways.
As far as I'm concerned, the cat is out of the bag when it comes to trade agreements and public sentiment, the people in power also know this fact.

If anything we need more income brackets, not fewer, now that we have such and extreme imbalance of wealth.
Trump is shaping up to be yet another 'trickle down' asshole.
I was almost warming up to Trump until I heard about this. More for the rich! Sorry Trump, the rich aren't the ones that need help.
The longer I go without watching Trump speak the more I cozy up to the idea of him beating Clinton. Then I watch him, and without fail, he gives me brain hives and my IQ dips momentarily.

you have a serious issue of thinking everyone's posts have hidden implications. nowhere in his post does he imply clinton is an "intellectual mastermind"

I ignored HU for a reason. He turns every thread into garbage. Now, join me! Be part of something bigger than yourself. A movement.

I'm voting Green. Possibly Johnson, but not likely. Maybe if he picks up steam. I would like to see Libertarians move Republicans to the left on social issues, and I think it is an imperative move for Republicans to stay relevant regardless. It will be interesting too, because if Republicans move left on social issues, where does that leave Democrats? They will really be two sides of the same coin at that point.

I can't reply to HU since I'm ignoring him, and I don't even know what his argument was, but everyone here keeps telling him to stop the straw man arguments, and I'll bet he responded by accusing you of hurling insults.

Yes, a bunch of <deleted> are gonna change this forum for the better, their repeated calls to have me banned have fallen on deaf ears, now the <deleted> need everyone to join them or their movement is useless. Obcoioisky, they learned nothing from their support of Bernice

For real.

Trump is actually gonna cut EVERYONE'S taxes, I know that includes the rich, but honestly, how does taxing the rich more change YOUR life? No need to be jealous of anyone else's succes, the economy is not "static" just because someone has more doesn't mean YOU have less, the left has made a whole ideology on promoting the idea that wealth can not be created, makes me sad
