Very cool, you can find some cool shit in/ near edges of corn/bean fields as boring as a place as they look. I have found lots of datura, after the fields have been plowed and it rains in certain places arrowheads are easier to find.

Dude,I found several types of Ground Cherries,Sassafras,Datura,Passion Flower,Morning Glory,Pursalne, and that was all today, and everyday I go through the fields!

I was thinking of starting a post your useful, and native plants thread, because there are so many non domesticated plants out there that are just as good if not better than some of the domesticated ones.

Have you ever grown potatoes in tires? Works pretty good if you have limited space. I didn't do any this year so I don't have a pic. Sorry

That's a good idea, I may have to hit the hills soon and see what I can find. Used to dig ginseng (in season and leave smaller plants and scatter berries, I hate poachers) but haven't been in a couple years, that's when I run across some interesting stuff like wild orchids and other interesting plants.

My grandfather used to use old tires for beds, flowers ect. He use to cut the side somehow in a sawtooth pattern and turn them inside out to where they were taller/ more attractive and not such an eyesore. Very cool way of recycling:thumbup:

Damn Bro that's a nice one! I grew those plants out from the seed I got from Miss.Kay and I believe she pollenated them herself and actually created this strain (if I understood her correctly). I did have a little issue with them though because they never turned black at all.

Honestly from the look of that tomato and from what I've seen from the ones I kept and grew out for myself that tomato is very close to being ripe enough to pick and eat. They seem to go somewhat dark orange at their ripest. You got any pics of your Black Krims I sent?

That brings back SOOOOO many memories from when I was a young boy. I had a bunch of friends and one day we went out to grab a couple bottles of liquor so we ran out and found a homeless man old enough to buy it for us. We found a 1 legged homeless man on crutches that did it for a little bit of cash and came out of the store with the bottle of Grey Goose in his mouth because he needed his hands to work the crutches Lol! (which grossed me out but this was my first time ever drinking Grey Goose).

Anyways we didn't wanna go home so we found a huge (like 50' Silo) that looks about the same size as the one you climbed.

We were drinking and a buddy said lets go to the top of this silo and I agreed because I was a dumbass kid Lol!! Anyways we climbed up to the hole at the top of the silo and then climbed out the hole and onto the roof of it. It was sooo scary but one hell of a story to tell

Good job BTW bro with the pics :super:

Yeah, I've already ate a couple of the zebras, they are really good the outside didn't get dark but they are darker on the inside. I'm letting that one go for seed. I just picked a bunch of the krims and tulas today, I'll get you a couple pics after work.

Naw Bro that's not a growing up issue. Hell I love to climb shit like trees, silos, deep ditch walls, etc. and I'm a grown man.

Hell if I was there I would have climbed up with you and possibly got you up on the roof which is WAYYYYYY scarier and more invigorating than the top of the ladder. I doubt you would actually do it though because you have to crawl out of the window at the top of the ladder and with no bars or handles and pull yourself out and up to the roof at about 50' from the ground.

By the time you make it to the ground I bet you'd feel like a brand new person all together     :hillbilly:

Lol, to hell with taking life too seriously, no one gets out alive anyway.  All the psycs I've done has shown me being a "responsible adult" is bs anyway. Everything is temporary, we might as well play and have fun.I'm 32 years old and still a big ass kid. All that really matters is the people we love, the differences we make and our experiences.

Space that's cool you got them from Miss Kay!

Dude,I would have climbed out there, but there is an old road close by,and if someone saw me they would have called the police.

I reckon that silo was about 50 feet in height too,and you can see it from the google maps Ariel view quite easily!
