poke holes in casing container ?
    #2352545 - 02/18/04 11:58 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

I was wondering if i should poke holes in the bottom of the casing container I am using. The casings are going to be in a terranium powered by an ultrasonic humidifier and I just figured it would be good to have holes to let excess water out. Is this correct or should I not poke holes?

no holes, at least for letting water out. my terrariums are not air tight and i like it that way(rubbermaid). as far as excess water pooling up are you sure a humidifier is right for the situation. if the terrarium is small spraying the side and a very little perlite will work superb.

My terrarium of a pretty good size and I only spray the sides while fruiting, no perilite. I have had no problems. But then again my casing is pretty big so that helps with humidity.

I certainly didn't mean that it's needed, just the way I would do it.
