Can mushrooms induce out of body experiences?

I have read that they cant induce such experience where you cant know the difference between opening or closing your eyes.
The guy who wrote this took 10g dried of psilocybe semilanceata or else known as liberty cab.
From personal experience too, i have taken 10g dried p.cubensis and on another time 5 or 6g p.cubensis and 3g syrian rue. Yea it was intense but i was still IN THE ROOM, everything was breathing, morphing and melting but i was not IN ANOTHER DIMENSION like dmt's breakthroughs (also i have never tried it)
Have you ever visted another dimensions on mushrooms? Did you ever meet entities before (with or without breaking through)? What was your dosage?

I'm interested to see peoples replies, I'll post what I just did in another thread.
On an 1/8th of some potent cubes lemon tekked on an empty stomache it was insane to say the least, I would classify it as out of body even though I was still here, I convinced myself I was dead and was living in what I could only perceive as "heaven" I literally convinced myself I was no longer alive, because nothing could be this perfect on Earth. I was awareness perceiving from a higher dimension - In that sense, I don't really have any desire to see what's beyond that, there's something holding me back because I know it will be something that you can't be ready for until your there.
If I lemon tekked 5 grams I don't know how more intense it could get than feeling like you're already dead, and have transcended to the heavens. I would assume going literally out of body lol, or peering into the higher dimensions past the 4th 5th and 6th. I believe I was in a state of Nirvana
It's funny because the same experience the same day, while I was still convinced I was dead my buddy spiraled into a bad trip and chased me down the mountain we hiked letting out grizzly bear roars, I figured I was re watching the experience of how I died, literally re-living it. Since I already thought I was dead and time wasn't changing or moving. Everyone was shrunken and looked like gnomes and dwarfs as well.
I don't know why anyone would wanna see what's beyond Nirvana

Harmine and north of 7 grams will take me to a place where it doesn't matter whether my eyes are closed or open. No entities other than myself becoming self aware as THE entity.

Pretty much my experience. On a lemon tek 1/8th.. Though it was my first time ever injesting any psychedelic. Maybe that's why it was so profound.
A state of beautiful silence, where there is nothing to think, as all the answers are already known, there is nothing to do rather than just be, and nothing to ponder rather than the experience you are currently engulfed in.
To just experience - the meaning of life
It's not any form of intensity, it's a mind state, a dimension. It was shown to me in this mind state that it could potentially be tapped into consciously in meditation, this perspective, this state of being was like a mirror on your entire perspective of life, you could see through, around, and every angle of the 360 degrees of which is your perception or awareness - "I" became aware of my own awareness - it became a singular moment of which you could be and perceive it ALL at once; everything in existence. Time ceases to exist, a very humbling experience.
A lot of wisdom can be funneled through your spirit and being - a lot to be learned from this state of universal perspective one of the main ones I brought back with me:
Life and death is but one.

They have given me many outer body experiences. One time I thought I was floating through the cosmos while watching stars explode into existence almost like witnessing the birth of all existence and time. Another time I thought I was driving a red transport truck down a highway while it was storming out and having to make a deadline hahaha..Not sure the meaning behind it but it was incredibly vivid and at the time thought I was actually there.

I feel like once you reach ego death levels then going outside of your body should be no big struggle whether you can control it or not. Partial out of body experiences are probably more common.
Btw out of body experiences are totally possible with LSD too. I've just never really been big on OBE I'm more obsessed with inner mechanics of consciousness. https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Exposure_to_inner_mechanics_of_consciousness

I am not a big fan of lsd, i really dont like it. Anyway there is also those who sit in silent darkness after a 5g+ mushroom dose. Never tried it.

Absolutely mushrooms can cause out of body experiences, where you're tripping so hard you leave your body, and might encounter other worldly entities. Who knows if those entities are the product of some deep uncharted part of your brain being pulled to the forefront of the mind from the substances you consumed, or if they're real, that's still up for debate.

Of course they can. I dont think theres a single psychedelic i know of that couldnt induce OBEs in a high enough dose and right setting.
Setting is actually more of a factor than dose OP. Lying in silent darkness on 5gs is probably more intense than sitting in a well lit living room on 10gs

I feel like if these were just projections of the subconscious that would make even less sense and raise even more questions. I agree with McKenna in that to even call this the realm of the dead would be almost too conservative.
As for projections of the subconscious I just see that view as childish. It doesn't tell us anything and just shows how badly human beings want to make sense of things. They're trying to normalize something that is anything but normal. There really would be no rational explanation for these occurrences because the experiences themselves are not rational.

I dont know man, I have seen myself laying on a picnic table in 3rd person while on liberty caps. It felt like I was floating up into the trees.
