I don't really have any desire to see what's beyond that, there's something holding me back because I know it will be something that you can't be ready for until your there.
my ex. gf who used to trip with me would always say the same thing, and i've heard it a lot, the "I could go into the abyss but I don't feel ready" I personally think the farthest it can go is you tapping into the "christ conscious" "universal mind" "collective unconscious" whatever you want to call it, and i'm pretty sure i've been there on intense shroom trips but you tend to doubt yourself as time passes and the memory fades
I just always let the psychedelic take me as far as possible, I "go with the flow" as much as possible

Ya I don't find choosing a favorite psychedelic to be like choosing a favorite child at all because for me even though LSD is amazing mushrooms are clearly better.
They seem less personal than LSD and more about death and my soul in context of vast existence and the collectivizing of humanity. It's more commune and more about compassion and helping others as well as traveling to places and seeing things no human being has ever seen.
They feel much more like traveling and if done in the right setting can feel like coming home where you enter a place so alien, so emotional and so unreal but seems so overwhelmingly familiar and like you will return. Mushrooms are a reminder tool that reminds me what..this is a all a joke, a game and none of this is meant to be taken seriously, it's all for fun and all a cosmic giggle. They show me how temporary my humanness is and show me how death is only the beginning. It's like a sneak preview to the next life.

Well I know beyond that you experience entities and a total loss of your body at least with DMT, but I wouldn't go as far as to say you're literally somewhere else, all these dimensions are here on earth, within our own mind I believe
That trip I experienced singularity consciousness god consciousness or whatever you wanna coin it, Nirvana for me. You're saying it doesn't go beyond that or it does? My trip was 2 years ago and I still feel it as true as ever, because when I was there I got the message "this is it" and going beyond already being dead I don't see what's past that??

I used to say LSD was my favorite psychedelic until this last trip I had on 13g's of powdered shrooms mixed with OJ; those cubensis blew the hinges off my doors of perception. Now I would confidently consider L and Shrooms a tie. Can't wait till my next cube trip.

I was saying it doesn't

yeah that's what I meant, that you can only go so far, the "nirvana" being the farthest and then after that it's just the trip feeling more and more intense but you reached the deepest place possible.....idk, just my thought, idk if it made sense
rambling a bit

What can you tell me about 2cb? I recently have the opportunity to get some but am a little nervous about trying it. I read it causes HPPD?
I am interested in it because it sounds like a short acting psychedelic and those are always in short supply for me, with mushrooms being pretty much the only one.
But what intriques me about it is the possibility it might have empathetic type effects like MDMA but while being a psychedelic meaning it wont deplete all brain's happy chemicals. MDMA is too over the top for me, a few hours of what to me feels in some ways like a very forced happiness only to be dropped down into terrible depression.
I am not really interested in substances that are going to make me feel bad the next day.

2C-B can feel fairly empathetic with the proper setting but most likely only with the proper setting. At least for me

Amen brother.
Never had anything else than liberty caps for years. Usually had them sitting with friends around a fire in a cave in a forest or wandering through the crop fields at night. Very unique visuals and insight.
Shrooms..........all time favorite
