Natural ways to rid intense depression?
    #23519249 - 08/07/16 03:09 PM (7 years, 5 months ago)

I feel like my last resort would be some sort of pill, I've seen people turn into lifeless zombies who never leave the house when they start on antidepressants.
But I'm growing more desperate every day. I don't think I could act on the thought at this time, but not a day goes by when I don't think about the peace that death would bring. I don't want attention and I don't want anyone to feel bad for me, I just want to shake this off somehow.

Have you tried SAM-e? It's fuckin' worked wonders for me. No shitty side effects at all.

Asante has talked of one too.. Sarcosine. Might be worth a PM to him on that one.

Get to the root cause and grow past that.  I found cannabis was useful yet didn't rid it when not smoking.

Rohdalia Rosea is a useful herb.

Treatment is the key.  Gotta be careful though

Man made drugs are usually just too damn potent.  Nature doesn't usually concentrate a chemical so purely.

White lotus might be a good herbal to try.  The active is a dopamine agonist while antagonizing seritonin.  Something of a mix that nobody creates on purpose in a lab for treatments.

I exercise daily(and work a lot outdoors, and spend time hiking) and the only drugs I do is mushrooms once or twice a year, not bullshitting whatsoever, I am clean and have been for a very long time. I don't smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol either.

Are you really smart?

Sometimes smart people exaggerate life's problems because they need challenges.

Or at least, they need to have a HUGE life.

You may need to expand dramatically...

Smart people have huge energies inside, if they aren't poured into activity and the world / field of experience, they sort of turn on you, or the unconscious turns on you, until you realise.

Any nightmares?

What are the themes?

What about how broadly you think ... similar to exaggeration.

Not in touch with your intellect, truly?

Think about how your life features in the grand scale?

How your life doesn't quite add up ... obsess over details ...

Confused easily?

It could be something really simple, you know.

I used to have a huge depression, you know what it was?

My neck... I had injured it and the tension was working the body in such a way as to depress me.

OVERTHINK. OVERTHINK.
EXAGGERATE. EXAGGERATE.

Who are you and what are you capable of? Figure it out, you're meant to be here, everything is holistic - you get your potential figured and your depression will go. Even if you're not the best you will feel like the best.

Life ain't about who's better...

If you are seriously depressed nothing will help.  Best you can do is find comfort and stay safe.  However there are worse things than depression.

You can be intensely depressed simply because of ideas.

Think of Africa right now. How do you feel? What if you don't stop thinking about it, unconsciously?

What about anger from the past?

Forgiveness is the answer to most social problems like that, as Jesus suggested.
