Not going to lie, I think that's just myc. It's trying to fruit and you are wiping away they pins. If you really suspect Cobweb quarantine that cake, and grow it as normal. Let the cobweb take it over, but I bet that "cobweb" will grow fruits.

I mean I'm not an expert, but yeah. That's what I would do. I'm fairly certain that the fuzzy white growth is Myc. https://files.shroomery.org/files/09-30/812048994-Cobweb_Mold_1.jpg] This is a picture of cobweb mold.

I thought that for a while as well. I used to use brf cakes, and back when I did almost all of them would get somewhat fuzzy, but that always lead to fruit IME.

Yeah that isnt cobweb. Not even close. That is called tomentose mycelium lol. No pins/knots tho. Also have no idea how you'd even knock them back. If they don't grow they abort. not get knocked back. You can knock cottony tomentose mycelium tho. Also stop using peroxide. You're just weakening it. The weaker it is, the more likely it will contam.

When you spray fluffy mycelium it knocks it down and makes it appear solid. When you spray pins, it makes them stay as pins. Pins don't get knocked down/back. They can get knocked off tho lol
