At least 13 young people have been killed and others have been injured after an explosion and fire ripped through a bar called Le Cuba Libre in the French city of Rouen. Only few details were immediately available. (more)
FOR LIVE UPDATES: Twitter, Facebook
The incident happened at about 12:50 a.m. local time on Saturday when an explosion occurred at Le Cuba Libre, which is a bar located at 44 Avenue Jacques Cartier. Rouen is the capital of the Normandy region, about 112 kilometers (69 miles) northwest of Paris.
Dozens of people were inside the venue, where a birthday party was taking place, though it was not immediately clear whether the bar was also open to other customers. Most of those inside were described as being between the ages of 18 and 25.
Streets in the area have been closed and a large number of emergency services are at the site of the disaster, though rescue operations were finished by 3 a.m.
According to the local news portal Paris-Normandie, at least 13 young people were killed, but it said the number of casualties could rise further. At least 6 other people have been injured, of whom one was said to have been critically injured.

That has nothing to do with terrorism according to other reports on it. Was a fire caused by an explosion though.

if you can show us that they had all the evidence they needed to stop the attack then please do, they had warning that there was going to be a big attack but they didnt know the details because the al Qaeda operative they had been interrogating did not have the details of how, when or where. unlike how liberals like to portray these terrorists, they were not simple minded cave dwellers
There was a newscast on NPR that broadcast the recordings they had of the terrorists over the phone, underneath the recordings were subtitles of the terrorists plotting to attack WTC. It's true, they might not have known what particular day it was going to happen, but I wonder why the rest of the media stayed silent about that?
surely you can post that up for us

Explosion and fire? Bombs don't usually cause fires. Could be an accident. Club fires are notoriously deadly. I came across this video a while back. Filmed inside the Station Nigtclub in RI back in 2003. You actually see the fire start, the cameraman barley gets out and within five minutes the entire building is englulfed. 100 people died. This is actually one of the most disturbing videos I've ever seen. There's no gore, but you see the situation deteriorate so quickly and all the screaming.

it seems that clinton was as well, clinton had ample opportunity to remove bin laden but rescinded the order on 3 occasions

You guys are ridiculous. whenever Clinton launched strikes against suspected terrorist, he was accused of "wagging the dog." After the Sudan debacle, they were very conscientious about not killing innocent civilians. They could have taken out bin laden but they never had a clean shot. Getting Bin laden was a priority for the Clinton administration. Bush didn't continue the effort until After 911 and he had 7 years to finish the job and didn't.

innocent civilians, you mean like the Saudi prince that was funding bin laden's operations
it seems clinton had no issues with civilian casualties when he dropped bombs on Iraq or Bosnia, you know, where hillary claimed she landed under heavy sniper fire

so you're innocent if you're funding terrorists, I suppose bin laden was innocent too since he was merely a terrorist

I'm talking to one of my old classmates, who was a German foreign exchange student, and is back in Germany now. And I asked him how bad the refugee situation truly was, and whether news stations were exaggerating about the crimes committed by them.
He said that unfortunately it is true. Him and many other volunteers tried to help them and teach them how to integrate and associate properly with women, but some of them don't want any help. They know they get free housing, food, coupons to go to the swimming pool and museums, and some pocket money, and they won't be sent back or sent to jail if they commit any type of crimes.
And because many of these refugees are young Muslim men don't know how to behave with women, there have been many reports of them following and taking pictures of women in saunas or pools, or groping them or whatever.
Originally Germany was careful not to say anything bad about refugees when they first came, but as the problem has gotten worse, they have been recently publicizing about all the problems the refugees cause in German media.
Not only that, but he says there are donation places where you can bring your stuff and donate it to the refugees. He brought an old TV and the donation agency said that the refugees will not accept it because they demand plasma TV's.
Jesus dude.

Quit lying. Obama has barely accepted any refugees into the country. Only 10,000 Syrian refugees have been accepted into this country. All refugees total including other countries, is only 100,000. That amount is really small, and barely nothing. I'm okay with it as long as it's a small amount, and the government heavily scrutinizes whoever comes in, reserving amnesty only to those who need it most. Gays, women, Christians, ex-Muslims, and anybody else in danger of being persecuted ought to be first in line.

Refugees can't vote.
What bothers me is Trump using Germany as an example of Obama's failures. The Obama administration has been very conservative when it comes to refugees. We don't have the same problem that Europe has. We will never have the same problem because there are no Islamic countries within walking distance of the US. We get to choose who comes here. They don't show up at our doorstep requiring help. The US rejects people all the time because they don't demonstrate values compatible with our own.

We just havent made it painful enough for the lovers of the 'religion of peace' yet.
You see, all these countries,Saudi, et al, they all know who the movers and shakers are, and who is doing what. They can cut them off in 5 minutes if they wanted to.
So what do we do? We just circle a couple of B-2's over Mecca, 24-7, and tell the governments of all these radical countries that they have 90 days to hand over all the kingpins, the bank acounts, connections, et al,
Or mecca vanishes in 30 seconds due to about 10 megatons of made in USA.
I guarantee that there would be roving gangs of vigilantes stringing up every fucking known jihadist in the world.
Game Over.
Please no liberal 'WAAAAAAA ITS NUCLEAR....' i dont wanna hear that crybaby shit.

wow, only 100,000 refugees and already such a dramatic increase in rape and terrorism in the countries hosting them.... seems like those refugees are a real problem

Only 100,000 refugees will be accepted into USA by the year 2017, 10,000 of them Syrians, and you know damn well I was talking about that. Obama has no jurisdiction over Germany or Sweden or those other countries accepting over 1 million of them.
