Temperature and humidity range for sgfc

What is the optimal temperature and humidity range for a sgfc. My temperature sometimes dips to 63degrees and H unity to 80. When I mist, up to 90. I was using a space heater in closet to boost temp to 70 but feel that is drying out my cakes

For temps i like 65 degrees for cubes, and humidity should be about 90 percent.
You could put away the space heater if your growing perimeter is room temperature.
And i hope your sgfc isnt in a closet, hard to get good fae in there.

I fruit at 70-73F and around 80-90% humidity, depending on what stage of fruiting it's at. When primordia are about to form pins, I keep humidity high, mist until glistening, and fan for about 45 seconds vigorously after each misting. Once there are a good amount of pins forming though, I change it up slightly. I increase fanning schedule more often until the RH begins stabilizing consistently around 80%, and greatly increase the water I give the substrate. If your substrate gets dry at all while forming pins, I bottom water to give the pins a huge boost. Remember, mushrooms are 90% water by volume, so they suck up a lot of it. Once there is a good amount of pins, the substrate it usually self-sustaining and creates a better microclimate at the surface casing, which allows you to greatly increase FAE, while maintains the humidity they need to keep the substrate moist and always supplying your mushies with much needed water.

RH doesnt matter, you can grow in open air if you like. any temp you're comfortable in is good for fruiting. just mist the cakes/sub whenever they look dry or not glisteing with moisture, that's all you gotta do.
get the sffc out of the closet! it needs room to breathe and do its thing!

Wrong. Try 55-80% tops. A SGFC has good humidity. Even if it's 55%. Don't worry about humidity, and worry about fae/when to mist.

Humidity is 0% important to measure or know in a SGFC.
If you mist your cakes and use your eyes its fine.

Agreed. I only use a hygrometer to make sure it's not -too- low, which dries out my sub sometimes overnight. But mostly you can tell what is needed by looking. If it looks dry, mist. If it's wet, skip the most and just fan it a bit. Just use common sense.
FAE is the single most important thing when fruiting however.

I've used SGFC in the winter when the humidity in the room the SGFC was in was ~25-30%. The SGFC worked fine.
