Hello I searched around the website but I couldn't find a post about delaying my cakes. I Got excited to get into a new hobby and Started Without thinking about my apartment move in date.
I move to my apartment the 19th That's 14 days away. 17/18 of my jars have been successful and they are almost 100% colonized. But I don't want to birth them till I'm moved in is there anyway for me to make the cakes stay put and not pin till move in day?
Pics For an idea of my progress also 1st grow and no contamination. 1 jar didn't take because I accidentally mixed it up with the already inoculated jars and forgot to give it spores.(Yes I know the temps high, It's a hot day and I pulled it from its dark enclosure I built.)

they are gonna pin when they want to pin.
but considering where some of those cakes look to be at, i would say you will probably be alright just leaving them as is, until you get moved. you want them to hit 100%, and then give a full week of consolidation(at least), anyways. so by the time they hit 100% and have another 7 days to consolidate, you should be moved. and if not, you can even let them consolidate for 2 weeks.
if they pin, they pin, though
