Wonderful plant, I love mine which I gathered from the wild. Salty/mildly sour.

Talk about some crazy shit!

I was out watering my Mango Tree the other day,and I noticed a peculiar seedling growing in it's pot.
Well, look what it turned out being, the real Purslane I have been pursuing :mindblown:

The only thing I can think of,as to how it got there was,a bird telepathically knew I was wanting this plant, and it found some, then it ate some  seeds from the plant, and defecated in my mango pot:lol:

Just like for us that hunt mushrooms, know that sometimes the mushrooms find you, well, the Purslane sure found me:excited:

I think it's been spread around populated areas, in potting soils.

It's possible.

I've been close to the dirt, my whole life, and purslane was uncommon to my area, maybe 15-20yrs ago.

I first saw this, and a couple of other stragglers, in nursery pots, and in bulk landscaping.

The greenwaste is recycled, on an industrial scale, into compost piles, probably enabling hardier seeds to make it around the country.

These edible weeds, flowers, bugs, small livestock, marginal game, and organ meats, are still considered gourmet, when paired with conventional foods, and plated, formally.

It's considered famine-fare. The setting can be salvaged. And, it can pass for haute couture.

This shitty camera doesn't show any plant I photograph any real justice.
However, this plant is a low growing plant with small leaves,so yeah,I reckon they are rather tiny, but prolific they are:yesnod:

Well, you can eat it at any stage, but it doesn't make fruit.

I do believe it is one of the most healthiest plants, nutrient wise on the planet!

I am a partial vegetarian,so I really need to start eating this ASAP!
